I finally got drawn to fish a Bassmaster Open at Lake Eufaula on June 20th as a co-angler!!! I've been practicing on a Shaky Head, but I've been having trouble with the hook set!!! Any tips or tricks to help get those fish in the boat would be greatly appreciated???

I don’t fish the spawn areas, and sacrifice the natural future fish born in our lakes just to make money on an easy bite. Someone needs to start caring about robbing the born bass in our lakes. And your guys talk about pressure in tournaments your making that pressure by declining the populations of bass in our lakes. Where do you think the bass that your catching came from. That’s why you got pressure. I’m 69 yrs old, and I was taught by an angler to let the spawning fish spawn. And we’d go out deeper and stay out of shallow water. That’s my contribution to the population of our fishery. That’s 50 years I’ve done that, and proud of it. What are the tournament fishermen doing for the fish eries in our lakes. That’s my opinion! So don’t comment me back and call me names like you did last time I commented my opinion. 🥸🙏
