Japanese 'Obon' Festival in Gardena, CA

I recently revisited my childhood via the #Obon Japanese festival in Gardena, California. You know that nostalgic feeling you get when you're longing for a taste of your past? I got that here.
I think many Asian kids growing up in the South Bay and West LA share this experience of dancing or playing games at the Obon Matsuri and Odori. During a time when being Asian wasn't as cool as it is today, we celebrated our cultural heritage with this annual tradition.
