How to fix split chocolate ganache

- The easy way to save your split chocolate ganache, with tap water!
Works a treat with milk, dark and white chocolate (just not burnt chocolate.. nothing can save that!)
I don't use milk, cream as it is not shelf stable.
This just saved my night!!!!! I tried adding butter, remelting over double boiler, and mixing with immersion blender and nothing worked. Then comes this blessing of a video. I almost didn't try because we all know water and chocolate are normally like cats and dogs but by now I was desperate. This worked like a charm. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

For those starting out, please make sure you're adding the water little by little and not a whole at a time :) Hope this helps you too!

I’m not a professional but I’m a highly skilled cook/baker with many years of experience - but chocolate is just my natural enemy and no matter how many times I’ve tried to learn to work with it I never ever get it right. I was following a high quality recipe and still managed to majorly split my ganache. I was about to ruin a special dinner and waste $20 worth of high quality chocolate. And never in a million years thought this would work, but I have it a shot and… it did! Perfectly. Really impressed (and ever more bewildered by the ways of chocolate).

Yep this works! Amazing save my sons birthday cake... I have used whisky in the past but not ideal for a childrens birthday cake!

I really thought I overheat the chocolate that's why my ganache looks kinda grainy and oily but thank God I was so afraid to add anything to the mixture, I ended up just whisking it gently until it becomes smooth. I didn't add anything, no water, milk or whatever
