Weaver cougar saddle - replacing with rope bridge

- My weaver cougar saddle had the stock webbing bridge on it. In order to increase flexibility I wanted to replace the saddle rings with rigging plates and add a swivel attachment for dual climbing systems. Many call this the "liger" mod.
Rope used: 16 Strand Samson Red & Black
Rigging plates: Rock Exotica Tri-Rig
I put an adjustable rope bridge through the existing rings. One end is tied and the other has a roll-n-lock so I have the original and adjustable rope bridge. I put a three hole rook swivel on the rope. Very happy with it and it was not that expensive.
Can I see that?
It's true. Added cost means may as well upgrade to full leather Denali. But I can appreciate getting into the harness for $250 and upgrading later.
Should of put a rook or hydra pulley on the bridge.
What song is the intro to your video?, I just can’t quite place it
Where can I order that thing?
I feel like if you could leave the bridge longer you could have better motion
Brw Samson rope....all saddle company's should be shown this video .they would sell ten times more with putting rigging paws on them there 20 bucks .I mean come on thar changed that saddle to a monkey beaver jr........thanks
the whole mod cost 200$ i might as well buy a new light and better saddle. i like cougar saddle but ain't spending that much on it. btw what size of the rope was that.
I know guy used it 15 years .
He's using Samson 16 strand climbing line it's 1/2 12mm
Probably more like 12.5-7mm
