I think that a white/gold theme would be cute for the chairs since it would match your cabinets. You do not have to do this I just wanted to give you a recommendation on MY opinion, it is 100% okay if you don't like it. I love your videos! Congratulations on creating such a beautiful family!

That is an awesome idea and would love to see it happen. I can just imagine in the future your kids getting a bowl of cereal and sitting by the counter in the mornings with their blankets still wrapped around them❤❤❤❤❤

To get off the very sticky tags from vases and jars that you bought from Goodwill as decoration, you could get a liquid called Goo Gone. Goo Gone is a cleaning product used to remove sticky residue.
Personally, I use ethanol and on materials where I can't, I carefully melt the glue with a hair dryer and remove it with my fingers.
I use Eucalyptus oil
I use lemon oil. It works perfect
Or you can use lemon juice if you don't have the other stuff
I wouldn't put the picture over the stove. Not so much because of the fire hazard but because of the grease it would get when you fry anything. Grease is notorious for getting all over. That's why you get a backsplash. You could find a decorative backsplash.
IKEA high chair is the best! So simple, easy to clean and you can get so many cute accessories for it!
I totally agree! Mom of 4 here 😊 I had an expensive one for my first and ended up selling it and getting the IKEA one!

Since you changed the handles from silver to gold, maybe consider changing the faucet to gold as well? Not sure how hard that is, just a suggestion?
Look up: refrigerator decals. They come in every image possible, are easy on and easy to remove. Great for custom designs or just to color match. (Retired designer) We’re enjoying watching your family grow and your dreams come true:)

Heyy Kenn for the glass/ jar you can use boiling water and let it sit in the water for about 15 minutes then it will come off very easy ( you can basically just rub it off). Btw your house is looking amazing 🤩 ❤
hi ken! to get the sticky stuff off the kitchen decor, i would recommend trying goo-gone! it’s meant for getting stickers and residue off of surfaces.

Soak in vinegar and warm water in the sink. That should make the sticky easy to get off.
Vinegar works well for sticky it’s not oily like goo gone
A blow dryer also works in high heat! Much cheaper, I’m sure you already have one. Happy you visited a goodwill store. You can find absolute bargains there

HUGE TIP: Literally just run the area where that annoying sticky tag is under hot water for about thirty seconds and scrub for a couple more seconds after that! The hotter the water, the better! I do it to all my mugs!
Stokke tripp trapp for a high chair! If you can find one for a fraction of the price, even better! We absolutely love ours, and it grows with your child ☺️

Also, there are lots of "mom to mom" sales around. They sell only really rarely used items for children like clothes, furniture, toys, etc. for a really good price since the kids outgrow their things so quickly.
Rustoleum makes appliance paint that you can paint the range hood and your wall ovens black or “cafe” style to match the aesthetic of your kitchen better. It’s super easy and looks like it came that way from the manufacturer. I would suggest doing that to get rid of the stainless steel, that is if you don’t like the stainless steel.
I love the Candle Lamps. I have two and they work great. Your home is starting to look really pretty, KennaDee.
Just a thought... gold tone bar above stove with s hooks you can change it out with gold tone utinsals n even small pans.
Just soak the vases in very hot water mixed with enough soap for a while, to get rid of the stickers
Hey kenn, so if you get some kitchen rolland soak it in vinegar, you can get the sticky stuff off the jars. You can also buy a product called ‘sticky be gone’ and it’s really good too x
I’m a painter and I wouldn’t suggest you putting up that painting on the stove wall! Heat and steam from the stove can really ruin the painting!

Hey KennaDee! My mom taught me a good tip to get the sticky tags off the bottom of glasses ( or anything else) . Before you even start to peel the sticker off, use a blow dryer and blow it with warm air for about 20 seconds and it will peel off perfectly with no residue!

If you want a good, Nice looking high chair that is also good quality, I reccomend you buying the «Stokke Tripp Trapp». Its made out of wood and you can Get it in black, oak, natural wood and many other fun colors❤ you can buy different accsesories to it too.
Also, I'm pretty sure you can use rubbing alcohol to get the annoying little stickers off of the vases. I'm not 100% sure but I'm mostly sure.
Love seeing everything your doing to the house. With all these bad storms happening you need to figure out your safe spot in the house, interior room with no windows. I live near Houston and have told my grandsons where we go just in case. Hopefully we never need it but the weather has been crazy already.❤

Hey Kenn! I think a good idea would be if you decorated the top of you cabinets meaning like you decorated for the season you are in. It is something I do in my home and it really brings life to the kitchen. You 100% don’t have to do it but it is something that I think would be really cute!
For super easy label remover, put baking soda and olive oil on each sticker. Make a paste out of it and let it sit for about ten minutes. Then just scrub it off. You’ll have to wash the item anyway, so wash it after the label/sticker removal.
A blow dryer helps get price stickers off, especially goodwill ones. Hot water works too. I just got a puppy named Thea Bear
Stickers/price tags or sticky leftover from sticky labels I use a tiny bit off nail varnish remover on a cloth and rub gently that get it all off and then give item a good wash afterwards to remove smell
To remove stickers from dishes, jars, etc. buy GuGone, I can't find mine right now so it may be spelled slightly different. Buy a large bottle since you will find many uses for it. Also, don't hang anything over the stove unless you can clean grease off easily.

For the stickers on bottom of vases/cups /plates etc. hot soapy water or little bit of white vinegar mixed with hot soapy water should get that off

Safety tip: Never do electrical work when you don't have someone else home with you to call emergency services if necessary. Applies to other things as well. I like the silver cupboard handles better than the gold ones, they just look to busy. Also, those new light fixtures would have looked good in silver. Check with your city on what a homeowner is or is not allowed to do in their home. Believe it or not, it may not be everything, even though you own it. Lots of things, like those lights may require a licensed electrician, at least to do a final inspection, for safety reasons. It varies a lot based on where you live. Read ALL paperwork before signing and paying, anything!

Use nailpolish remover to get the stickers off!

Put a little bit of peanut butter or any nut butter on your sticky sticker spots for about 10-15 minutes. The natural oils loosen the sticky residue and you don’t take the risk of possibly ruining your glass or crystal dishes

Maybe try an adhesive tile behind the stove . Then you could incorporate a pattern which would definitely grab the eye and pop against the cabinets and bench tops . Amazon have so many different styles
Also have a look at the trip-trap high char. It's a Swedish design and is changeable as the child gets older . Very sleek design . We absolutely loved ours it was fabulous
Also get a high chair that goes from baby to big kid stool. Saves $ in the long run. Also secure that hutch to the wall !! And baby proof as you finish each room. Corners are something to pay close
attention to. I think a green color to paint as its soothing. Mix tiles on the wall by dining room in black and white of u hubs ace n bear

To get stickers off glass use lighter fluid. Not charcoal lighter but the small blue and yellow packaged one. Works awesome. Then wash in hot soapy water.
So this msg might be a bit late to let you know but to get the labels of your glass goodies, the easiest way is to spray it with bug spray like doom then soak it in warm water… Hope you see this! Goodluck with the rest of ur home❤
to get the stickers of the bottom of your mugs and stuff you can run it under hot water for. like 30 seconds and it should come of when you like rub on it or peal it.

Hi Ken! Goodwill/ Thrift Stores/ Flea Markets are THE BEST places to buy dishes/ decor!!! ( You also might find a high chair you really like if you put the word out and also be patient!!). You can find some REALLY neat things for your home!!! I LOVE to thrift shop because one never knows what the booths will carry!! A suggestion for your high chair, you can get the ones that fit on the counter edge. That one is great for travel and doesn’t take up a lot of room. I don’t know exactly how many pounds it can hold, but I’ve seen 2 year olds that can still use them. I think that the wooden ones are the nicest but they do take up some room especially since the bottom is larger to distribute the weight. I actually prefer both because each of them come in handy at different stages in the baby’s life. Hope you find one that will fit your decor and style!!! Happy Hunting!!!

To get off the Tags from glass u can put it under Hot water (im not 100% sure if that works but for me it does 😊)
To get stickers or labels off any glass plastic etc. you can rub lemon oil on it and peel and it will come off
Lemon or orange essential oils remove sticky mess. Also, a ceramic blade or plastic blade glass scraper (Amazon)

To get off the sticky part you can just use hot/warm water. 😊 super easy ❤
In order to get the sticker out, you could use a hot blow dryer on top of the sticker and it comes of easily.
A suggestion would be to change the counter top or buy a sticker tile for the counter top cause it feels like it doesn't go with the theme that you are going for.
The picture above the stove has a possibly of catching fire if you are cooking steak with alcohol or you know high flame cooking. There is also a possibility of getting grease on the picture if it's above the stove. The safest option would be to put a stand and put cute stuff on top of it or spices, if you use spices.
To get the white thing off all u have to do is put it under hot water and then it will come off u can try that.

Painted tiles could go above stovetop. Just remember cooking oils etc will get on whatever you put there. So you need to be able to clean it.

You can try to put duck tape or regular tape over the stickers and then rub on the area were the sticker is and it should come right off. Of not use tooth paste or rubbing alcohol on it to desolve the ahecive.
I use rubbing alcohol to get off any sticker residue thats left.
The kitchen looks beautiful. Just a thought maybe some baskets or decor on top of the cabinets. Also a think a cute basket with some greenery or flowers would look nice on top of your china cabinet even layer the look with another beautiful picture on top. Just some thoughts. Blessings
Hey KennaDee Please invest in a LEAD test kit, to test anything in your home that is painted including dishware especially now that you have a new baby, a lot of things imported or factory painted before the 90's could contain lead in the paint or glaze
KennaDee, rubbing alcohol is a great way to take stickers off pretty much anything!!
Those handles were a game changer!!!
If you just get a little piece of paper towel, get it wet (like pretty wet) and put it on the sticker and leave it for like 10-20 minutes and it will soak up the sticker and you should basically be able to wipe it off with the wet paper towel. No chemicals needed 🤗
And for suggestions of highchairs, I've heard a lot about Twistshake, maybe it can be a good option for you ? 🤷🏻♀️
