To be honest, I am not really into large, 2-ton heavy cars, but I've never been in a car with such an endless engine, a better hi-fi system, double glasses at the door, servo-assisted seats (they will follow you accordingly to the way you turn the steering wheel), and with a fuel gauge going down so quick.
These cars have depreciated so much that for me are the best luxury car you can buy,for 41j you can get a 2016 with 15k in the clock,well worth it for something well over a 100k .

When she spends some time playing with the sat navigation and phone, look at the dashboard. It looks like a well built German ww2 pill box or bunker. I prefer the Alfa gulias dashboard any day. In fact, I prefer the gulia totally, and as we're talking about this price range, better make it the quadrafolio, thanks very much.
Not sure about these new cars with low seats and high centre consuls. Your secretary is going to have difficultly reaching over that to give you some executive relief.
Deepak Mathur it means it's a massive heavy lump of a car which should be slow and handle terribly but it's actually very quick and decent to drive which is unusual for such a big car and means the engine must be really powerful
I don't see the point over the E Class coupe. Yes you can get fast versions but in the real world you can't legally and safely use the extra performance on the road.
Gary Taylor it's all about overtaking power! Not so much top speed If your on a motorway and a space opens up to overtake, you can do it that little bit quicker !
Ab Dul Since they're all limited to 155mph then no it's never going to be about top speed. If you need to use the last bit of extra performance a car has to overtake then perhaps you shouldn't be making the manoeuvre in the first place.
The S Coupe is not built for speed. It is built for pure Luxury with a touch of sportiness. The E class is slightly less luxury and the C class is slightly less luxury than the E. The point of buying the S instead of the E is for the premium luxury.
You are missing the point of the car. The S class is the top of the range for luxury. Drive an E class and it nice but move up to an S class and everythi g is just that lititle bit better quality and comfort wise and it all adds up to a big difference overall. Speed is really irelevent in this class when they are all limited anyway

This car has so much to offer and she summarised the review with how to enter post code and how to Bluetooth a phone… with ‘too many OK’s’… it’s embarrassing to watch - she hasn’t mention anything about safety and hardly said anything about comfort. Lack of space in rear? People that buy coupe don’t buy it for space in the rear it’s a coupe for a reason - so you cruise with a partner and enjoy life - not take the whole family with you… and a dog… Go and review toasters.

This is the regular S-Class Coupe with 2WD version and not a AMG version. The AMG 63s 4WD has also over 600 bhp and eats at the traffic light any car above 3.5 sec at 0-60 for breakfast. The S63 allows you even to wet many super sportscars at the traffic light and that with ease and without drama and squeaking tires. This is called total souveranity.

Lucky enough to have been in and driven an S63 on two occasions. Such an effortlessly beautiful car. It’s a shame there aren’t that many on the roads

This car still has the old engine. The facelifted 500 Coupé will have a 3.0L V6 with 435 HP. and there is also a new 560 with a 4.0 L V8 and 469 HP.
