Hey thanks for making this review, I remember requesting for you to get a chinese mask about a week ago. I didn't expect you to get one so soon. Awesome!
Some masks come with everything in the bag to work, I think the PMK series have a canteen and adaptor all in one bag. Other masks need specialist parts that are normally sold separately, I might do a video though at some point and explain all that.
Yeah I like this as it's simple and effective, rather than being complicated and a bit crap. There are other Chinese masks but they can be a bit hard to get over here for sensible prices.
I've actually got a video scheduled about polishing up gas masks and applying rubber preservatives though, that goes live at 5PM UK time tomorrow, so you might find that interesting.
I've seen many gas masks being sold on eBay as "paint spray military soviet gas mask" (or something similar) that look exactly like these but cost a lot less.
Weaponsandstuff93 I also found a site you might be interested in: en.sxxinhua.com/products_list/pmcId=37.html It's the official website for the manufacturer of these gas masks and the official description for the filter you got says it's made of "glass fiber paper" and activated carbon, with a STANAG thread.
I've seen very similar masks on eBay with those funny Chinese glass filters. Always wondered if they were legitimate, or at least usable with a different filter.
Omg finally I found out what it's actually called, btw quick question. Is there any coloured lenses like, red for example, that would fit this gas mask?
@@Weaponsandstuff93 1. Thank you. You mean the flat rubber piece, which lays on top of the exhale valve? 2. I've heard someone say, that it doesn't seal properly if you clean it with water and soap.
Hey man if you could provide me with the markings on the filter I can try and research it for you. just thought I'd try to offer some help dude. You helped me out a lot I'm glad to return the favor
Weaponsandstuff93 well that's good to know man. I will keep that in mind If I buy a Chinese Mask. But still if if you need help researching something let me know my offer still stands take care man.
Pretty sure it has a reflector system without getting the mask out and double checking, so the first eye has a tissot tube and the second eye has a system where the air goes around the oral nasal cup, seems to work fine regardless.
I have this in date s10 filter and I put tape over both ends in hope it will stop air getting in Will it stop air getting in (it was like the tape that you but on box when you post it 📦
Good video I saw the listing it’s a good deal. Also they have used that exhale assembly for ages as it was used in the m65. You have a M69 which has a removable 40mm filter. The m65 are found on eBay.com for £13 and are unissued
Thanks, yeah the even older one with a hose has the same exhale system if I'm not mistaken, I might risk getting an M65 at some stage. I've avoided buying from China since last year where UK customs seized a load of my parcels and I lost a fair bit of money.
Well as said I'm sceptical about ordering them from China simply because I've had a load of issues with stolen parcels, at least with eBay you get buyer protection though.

+Retrova I only tend to get masks when they show up for a sensible price.
You should do a tutorial on how to use the drinking tubes on a gas mask.
You need different parts for each straw so I'm not really going to search those parts out to do videos.
thx

good idea
@@Weaponsandstuff93 hey man make a video on what is inside those chinese filters should they or should they not be used.
I love leaflets written in Engrish, lol, cracks me up, great vid, enjoyed this review, i like the looks of that gas mask.

Hello, I am so addicted to your vids man, keep up the good work man
Thanks
Also you should make a video on how to clean and maintain respirators
Already have.
Weaponsandstuff93 oh sorry man, might have missed it, then you are great man, thanks

The Chinese sell a lot of their masks under that name, I got a TF-1 under that.

Nice addition to the collection mate
Yeah thanks, it's quite an interesting design.
The bit where the diaphragm is reminds me of the S6 good video
It's quite different in mechanics though.
I've seen very similar masks on eBay with those funny Chinese glass filters. Always wondered if they were legitimate, or at least usable with a different filter.
Ive seen them in aliexpress to cheaper though
wow I thought gas masks were so boring before this whole covid-19 app and now I'm like I need 😎
This is a little off topic from the video, but do you know if the British Avon S10 red lenses fit on the Chinese FMJ08 (S10 rip-off)?
Sadly as I don't have an FMJ08 I can't test that.
Omg finally I found out what it's actually called, btw quick question. Is there any coloured lenses like, red for example, that would fit this gas mask?
Not sure, the export name is MF11 if that helps with anything. But I don't know of any outserts made for it.
@@Weaponsandstuff93 I've been looking and I can't find any so I guess they don't exist, that's a shame it would look cool with blackout lenses.
Imported from China? Why can't I buy it?
The warehouse also detained my parcel
How did you buy it? ? ?
Just found one of these on ebay. Do the NATO filters fit? Looking forward to see how it goes.
It does
Applause for your 1.000.000th gas mask or something no but really, it's cool you have so much gas masks
61st Gas Mask.
Would recommend this mask as a basic budget level gas mask?
Is this gas mask good for viruses
I have one of these masks. And the plastic smells extremely fruit like? Is there a way get rid of the smell?
No idea just try washing the mask in soapy water.
do you guys know if the S10 red lenses Will fit the FMJ08?
No idea I'm afraid, when I eventually get an FMJ08 I can tell you
Hey there I actually have a FMJO5 gas mask myself, Theres a problem with it though, theres glue in one of the holes, might be a hazard i think.
what filters do you use?
In the video? A Polish FP-211 filter
how much did you got this for??
About £20
I have the bad feeling that my exhale valve is leaking (it's probably a cheap one).
How do I fix it?
Good always get a new rubber o-ring for it.
@@Weaponsandstuff93 1. Thank you.
You mean the flat rubber piece, which lays on top of the exhale valve?
2. I've heard someone say, that it doesn't seal properly if you clean it with water and soap.
SchemuelR washing it would help because that’s what fixed my gp5 problem
Hey man if you could provide me with the markings on the filter I can try and research it for you. just thought I'd try to offer some help dude. You helped me out a lot I'm glad to return the favor
It's a generic Chinese military filter, I won't be using it because the Chinese filters are very iffy on what's in them.
Weaponsandstuff93 well that's good to know man. I will keep that in mind If I buy a Chinese Mask. But still if if you need help researching something let me know my offer still stands take care man.
I have a Chinese vietnam gas mask, and I'm looking for a more moden one. Nice review.
Thanks
Esta genial es la mascara que uso, saludos desde Venezuela un trabajo genial que haces.
Thanks
Hola men que tal es esta mascara? Afecta mucho el campo de vision?
Does it have a tissot tube system?

Weaponsandstuff93 thank you very much comrade
I'm honestly surprised most gas masks don't combine their voice diaphragms and exhale valves.
I think it's harder to get the two parts working together than having a separate disc and exhale valve.
What does a voice diafran (sorry if I spelld it wrong ebglish is not my main langueg)
Do you mean what does a voice diaphragm do?
It amplifies speech so it's easier for other people to hear the person in the mask talking.
Thank you
Royalthaiarmy also use this gasmask
Cool
RIP Atleast I was the second or somthing.
In general what is your favorite gas mask
Avon CT12, I've answered that probably about 50 times now.
Weaponsandstuff93 Ha sorry for my ignorance
I have this in date s10 filter and I put tape over both ends in hope it will stop air getting in
Will it stop air getting in (it was like the tape that you but on box when you post it 📦
Yes but the filter won't work with tape over it.
Weaponsandstuff93 i know I’m just trying to keep it sealed
cool gas mask
Thanks
looks ok.
Very good actually, seems quite simple so there's not much to break on it.
do a video on switchblades
Illegal in the UK.

Weaponsandstuff93 yeah PayPal’s good
Weaponsandstuff93 you could try the GMCC auction house on fb.
I see some of Thai soldier used it in Thai political crisis 2013
Probably sold as exports from China.
How much did you pay for it?
About £20.
China stoped using asbestos by 2000
I'd rather not take that risk.
