Automating xLights using xlDo and the REST API

Does the mac version of xlights support the http interface as shown here?
I have the latest xlights version and I dont believe it does. Nothing at port 49913 or any of the others that nestat is showing.

It does. But you need to turn on the option either from the command line or in preferences.

How do I confirm/start the 49913 port? seems to be "Connection Refused" (xlights is running)

I had to enable xfade in the preferences to start the listener port.
