@@milkitalix2419 Basically, her redesign messed up the timetables for her being able to join the Gen 5 3D Debut. Her design got changed because it was Chinese inspired right when Hololive was pulling out of China over the whole Taiwan thing.
this just shows how the artists that worked for the character designs did an absolute good job that even from the shadow you can already recognize who or which member is it, kudos to them, they are absolute talented artists
it's intentional. the silloutes of the models are designed specifically so you can tell them apart, because it is a major feature of character design. TF2 has a similar design strat with their characters.
damn you put some work on that, you not only used the hololive members but you put then in the right position to make references like kanata KETSUDRUM , suisei playing the guitar, the akai haato x haachama, roboco diving in the lava, marine in the mc position cuz she is THE hololive touhou player excellent work, I love it
1:40 I have no clue if it was on purpose or not, but Choco's wings fluttering/spazzing out is so iconic and I love the subtle references with it and the rest of the song
In a way Hololive is like a new Touhou. You have all these fantastical characters with complicated relationship charts and lore behind each of them, the deeper you fall into the rabbit hole the more invested you get. Now we just need Cover to actually make a Hololive game.
Haachama as Flandre is so perfect oh my god, also I'm astounded that I was able to recognise everyone except five silhouettes(Marine twice, not used to seeing her without the hat, Mio twice, and Sora once, or thrice technically since she appeared thrice in a row at the end
I knew somebody had to have done this. An expansive cast of female characters, each unique, with a wide variety of quirks and strange magical attributes... what is Hololive, really, if not Touhou with less bullet hell?
This was one of the best renditions of this song. I love how a few members of Hololive perfectly fit in spots of the Touhou girls. And the "a" was the best.

this just shows how the artists that worked for the character designs did an absolute good job that even from the shadow you can already recognize who or which member is it, kudos to them, they are absolute talented artists

I mean that's how I felt about the original but not nearly as many comments about that there as there are here. Guess that means I'm old.

it's intentional. the silloutes of the models are designed specifically so you can tell them apart, because it is a major feature of character design. TF2 has a similar design strat with their characters.

In a way Hololive is like a new Touhou.
You have all these fantastical characters with complicated relationship charts and lore behind each of them, the deeper you fall into the rabbit hole the more invested you get. Now we just need Cover to actually make a Hololive game.
My only suggestion is that at 0:21 Shion should be flying toward the Hololive office, complete with broken window

I knew somebody had to have done this. An expansive cast of female characters, each unique, with a wide variety of quirks and strange magical attributes... what is Hololive, really, if not Touhou with less bullet hell?
This was one of the best renditions of this song. I love how a few members of Hololive perfectly fit in spots of the Touhou girls. And the "a" was the best.
