  • Well we finally did it, the Gennaker came out and we got it fliying. It wasn't the perfect firrst time but since this video we have learnt alot and we are becoming more confident with it. We also invested in a Takacat, really enjoying that one also

I sure hope you don't blow up the dingy. :D nice to hear that the Swedish has gotten to you as that would be the way to directly translate inflate. :D Like I heard another sailing youtuber accidently saying he was going to screw with the engine.... :D But this footage can't possibly be last season? We were out several weeks (and I even paddled up and said hello to you in Finnhamn), but the weather was so bad that summer that clothes we washed didn't dry for many days as there were always some rain shower on the horizon. We ended up quitting the sailing a week earlier than planned. Let's hope for better weather this year!

Took me a while to think of the reference there, but now I understand :) it probably comes from my UK slang and a little Swedish. You very correct about the season, I am 1 behind so just finished 2022 and now editing 2023 as fast as time with allow. The weather hasn't been great over the last couple of years, last year we were in Åland for a good time so missed alot of the rain which was nice, these episodes should be coming out in the next few weeks. Hope to see you out there, cheers Chris

I hope the 2024 summer will be as good as in this episode. Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to your sail comparison next time. Cheers.

Yea me too, I really need a nice long hot summer. Today we were talking about how good 2018 was, could do with another one of those. Sail comparison will come in a few weeks :)

Always nice with a video from you 😊 Question, what type of life jacket do you have for the dog?
We will have our first season with a dog on board so trying to figure out a few things to make it all as easy as possible.

Hi there, Ollies life jacket is a Hurtta life Saviour. We first tried the Ruffwear, but we could not get the fit right, and it was difficult to adjust, so we ended up with Hurtta, and he seems very comfortable and are able to move freely in it . Cheers, Chris & Tanja
