How's it going? Do you still have the saw? I am hoping to build a cylinder for my saw. It is an older Model 90. I haven't been able to find anyone else with one, and the manual only shows a spring not a cylinder. If you're able to could you take a few measurements of your hydraulic cylinder? I'm trying to figure out what size it needs to be, how much travel it needs and where to mount it. Thanks!
The Ellis bandsaw is designed to cut with no lubricant. They do sell a air cooling system but this one doesn't have it. The table comes on and off in about 3-5 minutes. I took it off and cut the 3/4" x 7" lengths horizontally and then put it back on to make the center cuts vertically.
Fantastic idea. Simply genius!
Thanks John. Moms going to be real proud. Again. 😉

Can you still use the lubricant, if needed, with the table in place?
