Kevin Wilson. OU ties. Had the OU offense back in the day as the number 3 offense all-time in FBS. Won the broiles award. Up the street in Tulsa. Did great at Ohio state and sent dudes to the league.
Those offensive coach’s are basic TEACHERS! JA has recessed instead of gaining. Fans cussed Lebby, but we out gained all teams in total yardage in the big 12 last years. I agree.
It needs to wait until the end of this season. It takes too long to put in a new system. I'm all for a QB coach/OC combo. OU needs that, or a solid QB coach to be with a OC. I'd love OU to go get Joe Brady. What he did for Joe Burrow is amazing. But still needs to be after the season ends. The day after.
Gee, I don’t know! I’m just a happy fan that grew up with the Sooners! I want the best or the absolute best we can afford to run every position. You say that Seth is not the Coach to run the Offense? What do others say who are in the know?
I think Littrell has mad a lot of mistakes. I believe his judgement is the biggest issue. In my opinion, he broke JA’s confidence in the Alamo Bowl. He should have eased his young QB into the offense. Instead, he threw the book at him and asked him to throw the ball down field way too much when the RB’s were playing great. Made no sense.
It’s very simple look at what Bob Stoops did with Riley. Find someone who runs the type of offensive you want to run and is putting up CRAZY numbers. I don’t care what conference they’re from. These old OC’s may have won before but the game is constantly evolving. Find someone young with fresh ideas.
I like most of the list. All might be stretches to get. I don't love the RPO but if you run it you have to have a good QB coach. So with that in mind I look to these guys and OU would be a step up for all of them. Ben Arbuckle/WSU, Kade Bell/Pitt, Tino Sunseri/Indiana.
Seth is not the answer I agree. The lack of improvement for JA through the summer is disqualifying enough for me. I disagree with you on the style of offense though. The offense should be the type that BV thinks it's the hardest to scheme against for the defense, just as Stoops did with Mike Leach.
How about Scott frost? Wasn't the best HC but was a awesome OC for Oregon in their great years. He was a QB in college, was the QB coach for Mariota that won the Heisman. He runs a smash mouth, very physical, potent offense that went the championship against Ohio State. His offensive scheme would compliment BV's physical defense
I disagree. There are a few trust issues because JH attempts to make highlight reel throws that cost OU games. OC will open it up once Hawking gains trust. The problem is that VB needs to hire a real quarterback coach. No friends and family can feel those positions or needs. The operative word is REAL.
Bill O’Brien was going to Ohio State as OC until he got the HC job at BC and then OSU got Chip Kelly… I think he wants to be a head coach not just an OC. I wanted Kliff Kingsbury as the OC he’d kill in the SEC with our talent! Look what he’s doing at Washington this year! I’m not sure these OC’s know how to coach around the offensive line they are our biggest problem on the field, and yes more so than JA!!! Love the show and I agree with your take on the situation Boomer Sooner
Imma play devil's advocate. Steve Esminger is from Louisiana, he probably don't wanna leave at 69yo. Anyone at Clemson was probably already talked to and Tony Elliot is getting paid 4M vs SL 1M & BV's 8.6M. Not sure what we paid OCs in the past but is OU coming out of 4 mil? I think he was talked to already though and leaving Va after a couple of years, I don't think so. Locksley? 5.5M and building his own legacy atm? The ones I didn't mention I think is your list. But sticking with SL for the rest of the season is what's most likely gonna happen unless there's a total collapse and these kids know him as opposed to starting over. I'm in the wait and see camp for this season. The injuries to WRs & OLs is no joke.
Bill Obrien is a way better coach than what we have at the moment. Boston College is 3-1 with their only loss being to Missouri 27-21. He scored more points with les talent. Thats what I'm looking at.
@@NoFakinSports Bama fans wanted him gone, and what his team done to FSU everybody will do, I live just south of Houston and saw what he done to the Texans. No way would I be happy to see him anywhere close to Norman even as a spectator.
Why don’t we wait until we see what the offense is like with a different QB in there. Not even Mike leach would have a good offense with all the injuries and awful QB play. Not to mention a G5 Oline. You should make a list on Oline coaches, Bill B on the hot seat after this year
@@Devonskii Its watered because it is dry in Oklahoma. If they didn't water, it would just be dust. I haven't heard any other teams whining about it this season.
@@Tony-yd1vx I don’t think any other teams field has been that bad. I’m not complaining a win is a win, and Tennessee would’ve won even if the field was trimmed. OU has a damn good defense but offense is mid. And y’all QB is just gonna end up hurting hisself.
You should watch the whole video and actually listen. There are two former OCs on this list that worked with BV at Clemson when they won 2 National Titles. anybody from Saban coaching tree is better than what we have now.
Tom Herman is a great coach but terrible person. Major character flaws would never fit our culture but would destroy us from within. A cancer. You just don't know.

I would hope that BV makes a OC change post season. Pay the new OC what he’s worth and hold him to the OU standard!

Think your right. We need an proven oc to contend with these teams. Littrell just need more experience.
Seth is doing well don't be in such a hurry to replace Seth give him time😮😮😮😮

Ensminger was definitely a reach. He is an LSU guy through and through.
Love your List brother
Tom Hermon would lowkey be hilarious. Great content man. I’m subscribing. Boomer!
I didnt want Seth
I have one Dan Mullen
Won 2 nattys at Florida
Lead Tim Tebow to the Heisman
All this while OC at Florida
Didn't want (still don't) Seth.... I wanted (still do) Andy Kotelnicki (OC at Kansas last year, now OC at penn st)
Josh heupel. Offer him that bag 💰
He definitely isn't leaving what he has going.
Lol you dont leave a HC job for a AC job
OU had Heupel as OC they fired him.
Who is the QB coach? That tells you a lot at a big time program like OU as well.
I would never hire a coach that has a 500 record….and that’s what OU’s OC has.
We need someone like Graham Harrell. A air raid offense and the defense we have would be a winning combo 😉
Everyone posting on here is so smart. Y’all should apply for OC, every wunnaya. 🫵
I love your content. Someone needs to send this video to BV. You're doing a great .
The power spread is out dated
