Not sure if this may be why but did you have it on a higher weight? The higher the weight, the easier it will be to pull yourself up - unlike other machines.
You think of everything in your very useful videos. You are absolutely adorable and you got this ole lady back in the gym working past fear of trying. Thank you so much for your help Naomi 🧡
This is a great video, thank you so much! I've been working out at home for years now and I'm about to step in a gym for the very first time next week. I have no clue how to use those machines... I hope I don't make a complete fool of myself!!
Do you maybe have tips for practicing chin ups with the Smith machine? My gym sadly doesn't have this machine.. but I've seen some people do variations on the smith machine! I'm too shy to ask them yet.. but maybe if you'd give me some tips I'll feel more confident to walk up to them (: Thank you so much for all the great videos 🤗💕
@@alejandrachavez7873 on a serious note, take one foot onto the step and leave one leg on the machine. Balance yourself with the foot on the step and slowly raise your leg off of the machine as it goes up. Less noisey and it won’t make that loud clang 😊
Start at the highest weight (this is the easiest) and then just decrease the weight until it’s too difficult So for this machine More weight = easier to preform
It depends how strong your upper body is and how much you weigh. I am around 70 kg and I'm super weak. I did this exercise for the first time in a really long time setting it to 50kg on last workout so it means I was pulling up 70-50=20kg which is pretty pathetic but you gotta start somewhere. If you are doing the exercise for the first time ever you can start at a similar point as me so setting it to your body weight minus around 20 kilos. If it's too easy set it to a lower weight and try again, repeat until you can still do a few reps but it feels kinda hard to do.
it’s so weird but when i was getting on the machine, it just wouldn’t go down. idk what was the problem but i was on this machine and it wouldn’t lower itself under my weight
It kinda makes me depressed when the people I follow post gym videos. Where I live they've been closed since June and even before that. I've been working out but haven't seen any gains in like 7 months. I wish mine would open but I think the cases are getting worse. No hate to you. I would go to a gym as soon as they open too.

How do you successfully come off the machine without it making a loud noise tho

could you maybe do a video about arm workouts for beginners?
Check out my “Beginner Workouts” playlist here on UA-cam! ☺️
How I can fold the assisted chair like you did at the end?
Thanks
Can you explain how much weight you would recommend for the assisted pull ups?

thank you for this! i hope i dont embarrass myself in the gym 😅
Dont be everyone starts somewere and plus most people in the gym are pretty supportive they wont laugh at you

Min height needed to use this? Is it a prob for short peeps?
Can bigginers use this machine?

It’s likely that the weight you were using was too heavy! Try decreasing the weight next time and see if that helps. 💕
@@naomikong okay, thank you so much! i was using heavy weight cause the heavier the easier, but i’ll try to slightly decrease it😔
