Understanding we all fight the same battles like self improvement, nofap, meditation, money, women and etc. Allah (God) gives us Islam (religion) so we can find the truth and get ease.
Hamza Ahmed is a self improvement youtuber that makes videos about his journey from red pill to a deeper spiritual connection to life. He has another channel called hamza unfiltered. He discusses topics like meditation, nofap, sleep, money, religion and relationships, along with modern women and the self improvement aspect of becoming a better man. The hijab is empowering because people have to look at you right in the eyes and not judge your appearance. I never felt like I was being oppressed by being a hijabi because believe it or not hijab serves as a protection from gazes. I’m lucky to have been raised in a Muslim country but when I came to the west I wasn’t going to compromise my hijab.

As long as it is established that the command is from The Creator of the universe, then it is to be followed. Not looking is part of the instruction. Both parties have a responsibility to be modest in their sights and dressings. alphabet men should be in therapy trying to win their test.

For sure it takes a lot of strength for a woman to wear the hijab, niqab, and cover her body in lose abayah. It's one of the hardest thing for some Muslimahs to observe the hijab.
It's easy to just follow the trend, it makes life easier and you are more excepted, however why should we be the slaves of the western fashion industry? Everyone is a slave to something and everyone gets their morality from somewhere.
Alhamdulillah I get my morality from my Creator which is objective and not subjective.
I want to cover myself from head to toe for the love of my Creator and not to fit into the so called norms of the western society where removing clothing is associated with liberalisation.

I realized how much power a women's beauty had when I attended university and on days I was dressed well people will be extra friendly on days I wasn't they will pretend I didn't exist ! The sisters in the west are the real hero's because I can imagine how hard is it to be modest in the west it's even hard in muslim countries this days !

1 - Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]
2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]
A reminder though, hijab was not revealed for the sake of the husband. Men have their own hijab as well, covering from the navel to knee, and that is what Allah decreed for them and our level of hijab for us as women.
Allah told us to cover, so we may not be molested, so that we may be known as Muslim women.
He didn’t tell us it was for the sake of our husbands.
But yes, it’s beautiful that a woman does not want to be a sex object, and obeys Allah in the wearing of an ayah of the Qur’an on her body and walk as a physical representation of God’s command.

Brother, a quick reminder. The "navel-knee" rule for men applies when they have insufficient clothing, the likes which were so common before the Industrial revolution.

The level of modesty I mentioned is still the bare minimum. But your point is valid that men should definitely be covering more than that. It is a part of bashfulness to conceal what has no reason to be uncovered.

I feel like im in a similar situation to Hamza here where I see the benefits and beauty of religion, especially Islam. I feel like Im close to becoming muslim, but I feel some block. I want to believe in it but I just don’t. I read about the miracles and all and it just doesn’t have an effect. But one thing I do know is that islam is a beautiful religion, and makes far more sense then any other religion including the Christianity I was brought up in. Its hard to describe what Im feeling but its very frustrating, I just want to know the truth. Anyone have any advice? And even if not, thanks for reading my rant and have a wonderful day. ✌️
Assalam alaikum, I pray you and your family are well, from what you’ve said it sounds as though you have accepted that Islam is the Truth but it’s probably the devil putting doubts in your mind, one thing I’ve heard numerous times from people giving dawah to people in a similar situation as you, is to just raise your hands and make a sincere prayer (Dua) to Allah Almighty asking to guide you, and you will surely have your answer, clear as day, In Sha Allah. Know that He is Al-Mujeeb (The Responsive One), He responds to everyone who calls upon Him, Muslim or Non-Muslim, May Allah Almighty help you to accept Islam soon, Ameen

I Don't remember the last time my father or my brother praised me or called me beautiful. My brother teasingly called me weird or ugly in the past. The more we genuinely seek the truth, the more Allah opens our soul to the reality of this temporary.
Too many people make religion out to be something other people practice, like it is a house people live in and they don't want to go into someone else's territory or where they are not wanted. The truth is religion, particularly Islam, is a relationship with your Creator, on His terms. It is on His terms because He is superior so you must respect Him properly. He created you, not the other way around. He may dictate the terms of your relationship but it is YOUR relationship with Him. You make it or break it. It doesn't matter how many people work the same job as you. You work your way, they work their way even though there are common expectations of what makes someone successful at that job. Likewise is the relationship one has with God. It is so lazy to say that because of the way other people practice the religion, you won't follow it, despite seeing the benefits that religion would have for you. God invites each one of us individually to the Way. It doesn't matter who else is in the party. Take possession of your relationship with your Creator. It should never rely or depend on anyone. Thus Islam should never be alien to anyone. Yes there are things to learn, but anyone can learn it. Islam is an open book.

Ironically I keep getting adverts on my feed and video adverts promoting feminism as I am writing right now. There is a constant properganda targetting us women from childhood, making us suspicious of our fathers, brothers, to husbands and muslim men, trying to convince us that they are not to be trusted, they are trying to dorminate you, control your life, taking away your freedom or joy in your life, but alhamdullah Allah swt protecting me from it. Soooo grateful. He is Al Rahman and Al Raheem and Al Wadud....

I came across an influencer who claimed it's good men should be desensitized so they don't do what eastern men do who can't control their sexual urges when they see a bit of skin. I pointed out how western dudes just treat women as objects and she came back with how "patriarchal societies" do the same regardless. I wish someone would conduct research and point out the actual facts. I don't believe men actually become "desensitized" to women but they lose respect for women imo.
