I literally lost my shit seeing Ariana with her hair down and with Gaga in an Ariana look. Plus, if you look at their Twitter accounts, they both talked about each other and their work on this video and it's beautiful. It made me cry how they both got so close in making this song and video.

In recent interviews Gaga has talked about how the idea of “Radical acceptance” has helped her get through some of her toughest moments. Radical acceptant is when you radically except the situation you are in and when you do things get better. I believe this video is all about that idea and when they are singing “Rain on me” the are telling life to “Bring it on”. Once they do that things get better 😊
My theory is that at first Gaga sees Ari as an "sweet threat" she sees herself as darker maybe, but then she realises she is sweet too and Ari has a dark side as well so then they both sing and dance together in the 'dark' part, and in the 'sweet' one. So I think the message is, embrace you goods and bads, cry all you want but don't forget to have a good time, after all every wound will heal eventually if we want to. Love your reactions guys!

I think the knife on Gaga’s hip indicates her hip was broken before. The rain of knives indicates what happened at Ariana’s concert. And in the whole song they’re just dancing to the pains they felt for years and they’re feeling each other’s pains and that sort of healed them both. That’s what I got from the video, it’s perfect I couldn’t be happier to see them both being this strong and feeding us the positivity we need in times like this. ❤️
