It was great to meet you in Dallas on Saturday; I'll restate what I told you when I met you that you're such a good, positive ambassador to the Pokemon community! In my 25 years of playing, I've made quite a few lifelong friends through this game, and I got to see quite a few of them in Dallas over the weekend. It's inspired me to become more involved and maybe dip my toes back into tournament play. I haven't been fully competitive since probably 2006, and I get more enjoyment out of teaching others and bringing new players into the game. I hope you had a great trip, and I hope to see you again somewhere down the road!
Most likely not actually. There is an hour difference between your comment and this video being posted, so not that many people could have seen it. I would sax max 2,000-3,000. Then there is the fact that not all people have time, the cards, or want to play the deck so that limits the amount of people playing this deck by quite a lot. Assuming around 1% of people who see this and play it that would only be 20-30. Then there is the probability you run into those 20-30 people out of thousands upon thousands of people playing (and then running into them multiple times). Then there is the factor that this deck isn't that out of the question to make. What I mean by that is that it doesn't take that much effort to realize that Blastoise plays rare candy and is weak to lighting alongside palkia so maybe filter out a stage 2 that can counter lighting. Especially since LDF mentioned lighting is getting played everywhere due to performing great at World's, which is just even more reason people would jump to play Greninja in a Palkia/Blastoise deck.
@@imetzl9340 true, irl these rogue decks are hardly playable, the win rate is very low. There's a reason meta decks are meta. But it's still fun to play them, especially when they do work.

YO \_o_/ HE SAID IT Bro no lie, I recently cooked up a similar deck but it also included PoGo Blastoise for energy acceleration for a turn. I called it the Ninja Turtles deck. Being able to choose which attacker between the two depending on the opponent's deck is huge, and Palkia in a pinch helps in the early game while you set up.
Apparently, the pokemon company just registered trademarks for Black Bolt and White Flare sets for the card game. Potential return of Zekrom and Reshiram. Any thoughts?
I cant afford cancelling cologne on live and am stuck in Deoxys league, lul. Its all roaring moon and drifloons and chien paos and zards.... Sometimes someone makes an original deck
Recently, the entire great league is getting filled with zards and raging bolts, i think they increase the punishment rate on the tcg live system in favor of the most meta decks. Thankfully i can use the good ol blastoise again.

As long as one of the 120 is to the active, and the active is a ex, then yes, it'll do the extra fifty
