For that specific code (N9) no you do not have to pay. So technically could try again and see if they will grade. The altered code they do however charge
Hey, I just want to submit 2 cards (the shining Gyarados and magikarp unlimited). Do you recommend I do it myself or through a local shop submission? I never graded anything before, but I do know how to and that I should handle/clean up the cards a bit before. On the other hand, the store owners definitely know the process better than I do.
If you only are going to submit 2 cards I would highly recommend using your local shop or finding a friend that submits in a bulk order. A lot of the card submitting depending on the value of the card has a minimum of 20 cards unless they are more expensive than they charge more anyways. If a local shop has orders going out weekly it would probably be more cost effective to jump in on a group special!
Hey Bro, going to send in my 151 for the first time to PSA. However, a lot of 151 have whitening for some reason on the back. How much, if any, whitening would you say is too much for a PSA 10?
Hey dude! Just my two cents. If you see something on the cards that is concerning then I wouldn't expect a 10. I've sent super clean cards that have great centering and still received a 9 back. I'm at the point where I don't spend the money to send it if I feel it won't positively 10. One bit of white and a center that's off you are going to get a 9 or worse back.
Why send in old cards in beat condition? I have a ton and thought it wasn't worth it, but maybe it is? Curious as to your reasoning for sending in those old cards that come back a PSA 1.
Totally valid question. I happen to like hold beat cards. I feel they have a story. Pretty much vintage only. I hunt for super destroyed cards with a passion. Love me some 1s
