On this day in 1962 {June 4th} Ferrante & Teicher performed "Smile" and "Lisa" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand... Three months earlier on March 17th "Smile" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually it peaked at #94 and spent 3 weeks in the Top 100... And twelve days later June 16th "Lisa" entered the Top 100 for 2 weeks and reached #98... Arthur Ferrante passed away on 09-19-2009 and Louis Teicher died on 08-03-2008... R.I.P. Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Teicher, & Mr. Clark
