The heavy snow reminds me of my childhood times. Growing up in central Asia it snows a lot where I live and we used to do the snow sweep as teenagers. It's also fun to see the Kadomatsu. I learnt about it in Animal Crossing actually lol. Happy New Year!
The old buildings look so beautiful in the snow. Although it would have been better if it was a few degrees colder. That way the snow wouldn't melt away so fast.

・今庄宿は、７年前に訪れて以来だから懐かしい。
当時と変わっていない町並みに安心感がある。
町並み保存活動をされているNPOの方々と「重伝建を目指す事」を教えていただき、色々と談義をしたことを懐かしく思うのと、結実して良かったと思う気持ちがある。
・投稿主さん、板取宿も一緒に撮影すれば？とも思ったが、電車移動だと難しい場所だから、外したのかな？
外国人観光客目当ての着物レンタルショップに下駄まで置いてあるとは思えんな
