Snape was always my favorite character way before I learned he was helping Harry. At first I wished they had cast Snape younger but I really can't imagine anybody else playing the character as well as Alan Rickman did.

This is my favorite thing all year (besides HP:DHP2 of course). I honestly believe he was happy to be the fan favorite. You could see it on his face. He would probably say awards don't matter but I think they do make the actors feel happy. I don't think Alan even gets how immense and deep the love for his portrayal of Snape is

@88narayandivya I went to see him in Seminar and before he came outside after the show we were told that he would not be posing for any pictures with people. However when he saw two kids standing there he did pose with them. He also took the time to sign everyone else's playbills (including mine - yippie!) P.S.- He looks great in person.
