- Silver Ferns selections have sent shock waves through the netball community with surprise inclusions, but more importantly, surprise EXclusions.
The Inside Netball panel break down every third of the court, and it's players, and catches up with coach Dame Noeline Taurua to get her thoughts on her final 12.

Cullen was the biggest suprised considering she wasn't always a starter for Stars and apparently she didnt even go to the trials. But I think Nolene had planned the whole defensive end around Karin Burger and needed a like for like WD GD slide.
Mes is a great impact player. Shes a no brainer to have in the squad. She's not the first choice starting GA but shes a point of difference coming off the bench.
Mes is a different player. Gone are the days where she can’t shoot. She can shoot (from range as well). Under the post for rebounds she’s nearly unstoppable. She’s who we need at GA, especially if Wilson is playing GS.
I’d say Jury is the best/most on form GK in the world atm. Or at least much closer to it than Gina Crampton

Im confused...NT said she selected shooters based on volume but neither TP or Mes are volume shooters. TP is always hesitant on shots at international level
And this is why we don’t coach because TP was the biggest factor alongside with Grace.
@@randocommando6355 Yet Mes was a waste of a selection...and if you had watched the game...it was Nweke who dominated that circle in the bronze medal match.

Heffernan really owned that WD bib at the Comm games. Souness was a bit hesitant at feeding. Kararaka and Fitzpatrick werent performing at GD.
Defence was clearly lacking with the exception of Jury and Heffernan.
No point having volume if they can't shoot. Aliyah had volume and accuracy so why is she not in?
She was slow and gets tired. Bruce, Klau, will crush her with their left finger. Shamera will out run and out jump Dunn.
Possible she couldn't hit the fitness markers Noel's requires which are notoriously high fitness expectations.
Kj ? Seriously? Where is she when they won the last tournament? Where's Amelia. She's the one we won the cup. Why's she's not in.
She was pregnant and Amelia didn't pass the fitness test

She did make sense but also Noel’s is also thinking about the bigger picture. Yeah these girls got bronze but guess what? Next year come worlds, they WILL be in that final because these girls will know what to bring next time if they get selected
@@randocommando6355 they will make the final cause K Burger, J Watson, Rore and Ekanasio will prolly be ready by then. For the long run, the comm games was the perfect opportunity to take new blood for exposure and experience in a pinnacle event. I could comfortably say that some players did stand up in comms but the rest were just dead weight. 🤷♂️
Once that player puts on that black dress, they're a different player, so I'm sure they'll do well

Taurua coached the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic from 2002-13, leading them to two National Bank Cup titles (2005, 2006) and one ANZ Championship title (2012).
coached the Sunshine Coast Lightning to back-to-back premierships in the new competition
coached the silver ferns to a world cup title in 2019 and a constellation cup win in 2021
so the teams did that without any work or coaching from Noeline? Those awards are given out to incompetency? I think you are the delusional one...

She's not forgotten she's just no ready (physically) yet and who would want to expose her like that. Amelianne is a professional....she will be ready for Worlds...we just have to wait and be patientand supportive.
