After developing a horrific medication injury called Akathisia, going on for three years now....I now understand the sacred nature of suffering. I believed in Christ before - but now I know Him. God meets us in our suffering. Like Neil A. Maxwell said, "The cavity of our suffering will one day be the receptacle of our JOY." Christ suffered anguish we cannot comprehend. How was He able to endure it? It was the JOY set before Him. In my suffering, I'm comforted by Him, and by the knowledge of the future joy we will live in, never knowing grief or pain ever again.
My favorite part was the ending, with the signs. If only everyone wore a sign, we would all be so much more compassionate.

It is amazing how carrying a heavy burden like a drug addiction and losing custody of my children after being a faithful convert, serving an honorable mission being sealed in the Temple and experiencing the miracle of being a mother in Zion and now looking back and see everything like a test and a path to grow and gain again my worth , sobriety , my beautiful faith and the love and respect of my boys again I learned to take it like this song's title... a Beautiful Heartbreak. Now I know that no matter how many times I can fall; on every step on the way Jesus and my Heavenly Father will be there for Me to help Me get up and carry on with life again 'till the end.

When I considered this scripture from 2 Nephi 2:7, my own heartbreaks had a new meaning: "Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered." Now I understand the heartbreak is not figurative, it is literal, and until we have experienced it, sometimes repeatedly, we cannot appreciate the Savior's sacrifice.

I believe this song was written for me! (along with a few million other souls!) I also carry a sign. It reads DIVORCE. But I also carry a second sign. Re-Married 10 years. To the best of the best!!!!!!! The Lord does work in mysterious ways to give us what we need and not always what we want. Love, love, love this song! It may be my new favorite. Last night I dreamt I was a part of NieNie's extended family. The dream was filled with acceptance, love and joy. Then this morning there was a link to this video in my inbox. It’s amazing how one is thinking, this song is for me. While his/her counterpart thinks, this song is for me.
One thinks he is alone in his heartbreak story.
How blind humans are. Universe is for everyone, if you admit that. You will never see heartbreak the same. And you will not see love even the same. No matter who you’re with, you will appreciate every soul you have been with. After all, it’s not all about you. And heartbreak, is just an indication that you still think you’re alone in your experiences. And you still see love from ownership to yourself point of you. Which’s completely what causes misery every time.
Can I just say how much this touched me?! Especially the mother who was burned. I recently had 21% of my body burned and had to get skin graphs and sure I have sad moments here and there about what happened, but most of the time I'm just glad it was me and not someone else who was with me. I wouldn't be able to handle one of my friends going through this pain. I like how Hilary calls it a "Beautiful Heartbreak" and I think I'm going to call it that from now on.

It was beautiful. I recently had a 5cm x 5cm x 5cm brain tumor removed. I have also lost a best friend when I was eight and have had 3 miscarriages. So I have had a lot of heart breaks. I wish it wasn't as hard but I have learned a lot . Life is good I do have 5 beautiful healthy kids and I found out today that when I am physically healed from my brain surgery I can have more kids. I have always wanted a big family. Some days are still hard but I just pray for the Lord to help & he does

There's a little boy who I know and have connected with; he's 8 and was scalded by his mother and her boyfriend when he was 5 years old. I'm not going to pretend I'm okay, he's not home this Christmas. This music, your lyrics spoke to my beautiful girls; my sweetheart and her foster daughter and all of those who are foster parents and open their homes and hearts to these children and teens. There's a move titled "Instant Family" in theaters (as of this post), please see it. It made us laugh and cry. My heartbreak became beautiful. I think that my mother's death helped me to overcome problems that I was having when I was younger. God blesses you in ways that at first you may not understand, but as you push through the adversity and keep your focus on Christ, every experience can become sweet. I can't like this song enough...I recently went through a very hard heartbreak. I wouldn't say I am over it. But I would say I am healing well. God blessed me with a gentle soul. I love this song sooooooooo much! It speaks to me about my whole life. I have had some really tough times ever since I was very very young. This song really helped me realize that it was all for a purpose. Yes I did cry but I don't mind. Heavenly Father has given us all tough times to overcome but they are to make us stronger.
