HI CHRIS & LORI SORRY HAVEN'T WATCHED B4 NOW. JUST REALISED UA-cam HAVE AGAIN!! PUT ONE OF MY SUBSCRIBED CHANNELS ON NOT INFORMING ME ABOUT NEW VIDEO POSTING. NOT THE FIRST TIME I ALSO NOTICED BILLS AND OTHERS IN SAME CATEGORY.. HERE NOW MY FRIENDS 🇺🇲🙏🏼❤️
@@ctrcflyin2011 Had mine out this morning one great flight and one total failure of the ESC and amazing nose first crash and Big bag of small foam and plastic pieces with a nice 6s 4000 up in smoke. I didn't video this flight. Jeff
Well those things happen even if we do not like them, Great flying up till that powerline snagged the rudder robbing your airspeed. This is a very worthy plane to repair and among the best low/mid wing planes out there. Your video and narration was great despite the minor setback at the end. Good Luck on your repairs and look forward to seeing it fly again.

@@mikebird8290 Doing well Mike. Life has been very busy doing home improvement projects and doctor appointments. Not much flying this month due to poor hot windy weather. SALUTE SIR.
I foam tacked the vertical stab, and flew 9 more flights before going home. We ordered a new a new one. Installed the new one yesterday, and Lori touch up painted the leading edges of the wings. Looks almost good as new. I am glad I opted to keep the gear up, and mush it into the tall grass. Could have been worse. It was a sickening sound when it hit the wire for sure.
Hey Chris and Lori! Man Chris, great flights and landings and what a pissa on the third and clipping the powerline! A great save with pulling the gear up and ditching in the grass. Glad to read that minor repairs and flight worthy. If you fly around powerlines, you have powerline stories to tell lol! Thumbs up for sharing! To help you feel better here's my worst on the second flight with the plane lol: ua-cam.com/video/am2V-C3vL5k/v-deo.html
Hi Chris and Lori! nice flying sir! and great camera work Lori, nice save just landing in the tall grass. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bill. Ditching with the gear up in tall grass I thought was my best option, and it all turned out ok.
Despite the mishap at the end that was a magnificent flight with a magnificent plane. Hope the damage was light to none.
Thanks Rick! I glued the rudder, and stab back on, and got 9 more flights on it before installing the new stab. Looks good as new.
Beautiful plane and it flys so nice hated seeing it take a dive in the weeds hopefully it survived
Thanks Tony! Minor damage, and repairs have been made.
Great job on the maiden and second flight. The third was looking good until that line got in the way.Nice video Chris and Lori.
Thanks Don. Those lines have grabbed all of us at one time or another.
Soon as I saw the powerlines. I thought ohhh shit. Im gonna say you got lucky. Otherwise it was a great maiden. Nice job on the camera 😊
Thanks Roy!! Yes I got lucky.
I see what happened now! I put it on slow motion! Glad you got it up and running again no problem!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks man!! The vertical stab has been installed.

Thanks Jeff! Good idea on color coding.

So true Fred. A lot of club members have their own stories to tell lol. Now I have my own.
Looks really scale coming in slow
It sure does.
O man. Sorry bud. Look like it only got the rudder. Hope nothing happened on the belly landing
It was just the vertical stab, and rudder. Have already installed a new one. Good as new Travis!
Why did he drive it into the ground like that?
I didn't drive it into the ground. I glided it to the tall errestagrass after clipping an electric wire.
@@ctrcflyin2011why not just make a normal landing? It would have flown just fine back to a wheel landing.
