It is located in the foothills of the Andes, near the Llaima volcano. It is a world-class trekking due to the impressiveness of the place as it has a glacier, araucaria forests, waterfalls and turquoise lagoons.
Sierra Nevada viewpoints excursion
Join us on this emblematic route of Conguillio; The Sierra Nevada trail and three wonderful viewpoints in the middle of araucarias, volcanoes and glaciers.
Conguillio, which in Mapuzungün means water with pine nuts (the fruit of the Araucaria), a dream place where the soul connects with the purest nature. Inserted in the heart of the Araucan lands and among millenary Araucaria forests, active volcanoes and glaciers, which gave life to this wonderful ecosystem. It is possible to tour the park and the Sierra Nevada trail in all seasons, highlighting the Autumn when the Nothofagus Forests change their leaves adopting different colors that paint the mountain range and the winter that makes Conguillio a pristine and wild place, the snow It covers every corner that we can see, while the Araucarias, the lake and the Llaima volcano watch our walk. Walking along this path we will be privileged to be able to admire this landscape, see the footprints of foxes and pumas marked in the snow, admire the flight of the Condor or the patter of a Carpenter and contemplate one of the best postcards of Chile; The Sierra Nevada Viewpoint.

increíble lugar, una meseta con un salto, varios volcanes, un valle, una laguna un glaciar.
Como es el treking? dificultatd, distancia, tiempo, desde donde se sale? etc?
Gracias por su comentario y por ver el video, un trabajo hecho con mucho esfuerzo, no somos especialista en el tema nosotros llegamos y fuimos normal sin ningún implemento ni preparación, el camino esta todo marcado va mucha gente todo los días es solo seguir las huellas, son como 10 km de distancia con una elevación de unos 800 mts llegamos como en 3 horas y medias a la laguna, bajamos mas rápido obviamente, esto queda en Lonquimay sierra nevada se sube pasando el túnel las raíces hacia sierra nevada
Como se llega? Donde se deja el auto??
Muy muy fácil, camino a Lonquimay pasando Curacautín, debes pasar el tunes las raíces, a la primera curva mano derecha ahi se deja el auto y derecho para arriba se ve el camino, es muy transitado, son como 11 km, nosotros la hicimos como en 3 horas y medias, va mucha gente todo los días, si gustan los puedo guiar si me llevan para hacer otro video, ahora hay algo de nieve, nuevo video, suscribirse comentar y compartir por favor saludos !!! ua-cam.com/video/faJa9oAVQHw/v-deo.html
