A lot of this goes on that a lot of private members dont see or care about and wonder why yearly subscriptions can be so high. I'm no greensman but that looks like a hell of a lot of work and time on just a few issues around the course without wages to be paid ,equipment to buy and materials to use. What a waste of money with overseeding, let the grass grow in naturally, saves money and the grass will be more resistant and it takes the sa e amount of time usually shorter with great weather. Bentgrass naturally creeps and heals quick, all grass will heal itself from aeration

There's tons of reasons to overseed and it's very common.
Didn’t realise there were armchair greenskeepers, overseeing is common practise
