This video really sells just how twisted and evil William really is. The selfishness, the pure hatred; what a wicked man he was. The suffering he caused was immeasurable, stemming from his family to even random people he had no connections to. He did all of this... for what reason? We will never know, and why should we? There cannot be a justification for the hell he created, for nothing is worthy enough to destroy and torture many innocent lives.
He verbally abused his family, and although there is no direct evidence for physical abuse, it would not be shocking if he did that too. The crying child was continuously tormented by his older brother, who only learned from his father before him. William mislead his family, failing the one thing a father is meant to do, and on top of that, he even trapped them within the hell he created. He forced his children to clean up after his monstrous actions and forced them to roam the earth even after their supposed deaths. Keep in mind that he did all of this, *to his own family.* What an evil, evil man.
Then, as if that wasn't enough, he went out to murder innocent children, all for his own gain. Lemme say that again. *William Afton murdered innocent children, all for his own gain.* He stole the lives of boys and girls that had no connection to him and robbed them of the lives they could've lived. Imagine the good those kids could've brought into this world. Perhaps one would run a company that would change the face of daily life, or perhaps one would become a parent who would raise beautiful children. But they never got to see that, because a certain purple figure took their young, unfulfilled lives. He used their innocence against them, lured them into a room closed off to the rest of the world, and slowly murdered every single one of them. The fear they must've felt as the massacre unfolded, and after all that, the souls of the children were trapped inside the very same suits built by William Afton himself. Their purpose now tainted by the purple serial killer, becoming the same monsters the Purple Man was himself. They thirsted for vengeance and would live years upon years trying to quinch that thirst. What a miserable existence, of which was completely preventable. Very sad.
Furthermore, William would go on to build advanced machines who seemed innocent on the surface but hid horrible intentions behind their masks. He used his gifts for evil, how disappointing. One of those machines took the life of a child, and it wasn't any random child either. It was the child of William's best friend: Henry. How could anyone do such a thing, to a friend of all people? Yet another soul taken advantage of by an irredeemable monster, forced to walk the earth in search of purpose and solitude, but lead to murder and vengeance.
In the end, William could not escape the consequences of his actions. He was not an exception, and sweet, sweet justice was brought upon him. Not only did he experience the horrible fear of the children he murdered in a mysterious room closed off to the rest of the world, he experienced the same pain they felt, but multiplied tenfold. How satisfying it must've felt to watch the one who destroyed you now suffering a worse fate than what he caused himself. The gift Afton used for evil came back to ruin him: metal piercing through his skin, bones being crushed like soda cans under the feet of a titan, blood drowning the throat he used to scream for mercy. But that wasn't enough, no. God was not pleased with only the horrible pain a Springlock Failure can cause. Fate had to be fulfilled, completely and utterly. William was now trapped within the suit he created himself, abandoned in a room no one knew even existed. His soul was trapped on this tarnished planet, forced to walk with death, who did not see it fit for Willaim to escape his never-ending purgatory. Not yet at least.
For years, William was given time to reflect upon the damnation he wrote himself, and like the psychopath we all know him as, he took pity for himself. He questioned genuinely why he had to suffer, being completely unaware and oblivious to the path of annihilation he walked his entire life. His sins were not sins to him, he believed he was innocent. What a twisted reality William lived in. Instead of repenting for his horrible, horrible sins, of which may never even be forgiven, he chose to cry, and beg for an end. He loathed the ones who brought upon his perdition, his eternal malediction. He hated his sons. He hated the children he massacred. He hated everyone besides himself. He felt no guilt inside his soul, for he had no regrets. What a terrible fool, what a horrible man.
William's tale does not end there, that would be too simple. He was eventually found and was treated like a dolt. He was left in an amusement park attraction, all alone once again. Now, he was nothing. His purpose was to entertain the organisms he murdered, tortured, and hated so dearly. In a twist of fate, he met the one he first destroyed: Michael Afton, William's son. The color of his skin was a dark purple, the very same color that the soul of William bore. William was provided grace, being able to reunite with family, but he never noticed. He was given yet another chance to right his wrongs, but all that William focused on was himself, *his* earned pain, *his* suffering that *he* acquired. He attempted to do what he does best, failed, and Michael burned him with a taste of what Hell waited for him after death. But what a lucky man, as William's pure hatred kept his body alive, his suit still functioning, given yet another chance to live in this miserable story he wrote.
Like a puppet, William's path of evil lead him to a new Fazbear facility, his anger of course still alive. Attempting to murder his son, he wandered and wandered an endless asylum, unaware that he was trapped with the same souls he imprisoned on this Earth long ago. He did not know his fate, but that does not mean he would never meet it. Finally, the end came. Michael, along with all the children William murdered, as well as William himself, would burn alive in the fires of finality. The end of the Freddy Fazbear story finally came, and all of those who were trapped in it were finally free. Henry fulfilled his duty and saved all of those who begged for an end, including the one who started it all.
Although he wished for an end, William's story did not do such. His sins demanded for more, to exist longer, even past life itself. Now trapped in Hell, William was forced to face the many souls he stole, as well as the hallucinations, nightmares, and many demented beings his victims had to face. Fredbear would get to bite down on William's skull. The faces of death, Nightmare and Nightmarionne, would laugh and toy with Afton for eternity. The souls of the 5 children would forever chase down and slaughter their tormentor. The killing machines William built himself would now use their many weapons against him. William had to face every single hallucination his children and the security guards wrapped up in William's tale of terror had to face. Everything William brought upon this Earth now met their creator and will stay with him until the day he is thrown into the Lake of Fire, and only then will his true sentence begin.
The story of Five Nights at Freddy's is a tragic one. A terrible man who did terrible deeds wrote it all, and now, he gets to live with it forever. Good riddance I say.
