I’ve haven’t been to Seattle. Don’t know when if I ever will, but watching you two is just close enough. Good to spend time with you both virtually. You’re good hosts and your video is amazing
It's so fun watching you two. You're instantly super likeable. Like I'm watching my friends vacation. You're both so pretty! XD I live in seattle and still loved watching you two have fun.
Love rattlesnake ledge - it's the perfect 1st hike in Washington. Easy to get to, not overly hard but when you get to the top you really feel like you climbed a real mountain.
Isn't Seattle the best? It has everything. My grandparents lived on SW Roxbury Street which is a perfect Seattle location whenever I go there I eat at Spuds Fish and Chips on Alki and go to Pike Place and Space Needle.
Q score : 8/10. Absolutely loved the A+ kitchen into snowy village angle great choice! If you guys would've bought honey sticks when visiting pike place market i'dve been super impressed. Great video! Raf Score : 8 /10. Overall great guide however eating at A+ over Hong kong bistro in chinatown got you some points deducted. Also whenever in the pike place market going to seattle fish guys is a must!
Loved your video. Next time, go to snowy lake, a little further on I90, a beautiful lake. There are ample amount of beautiful hikes in the cascades with amazing Alpine lakes. Best to go in late summer, early fall. The North Cascades are also amazing, along the the Olympics and Mt. Rainier.
I’m from Lawton Oklahoma. I was visiting family in Portland Or back in 2019. Before pandemic and 2 day broke away to spend one night in Seattle. I went to MoPop Museum, Chihuly Glass Garden, Space Needle, Pike Market ate at Athenians there cause it was evening everything was closed but a few restaurants there. Then saw Kerry Park, T- Mobile Park and Century Link Museums before heading back to Portland. Seattle was cool city I’d recommend it for vacation spot mostly in summertime. I want to go back. Though downfall is homeless problem there. But can look past it. Plus bring money it is costly there. But Seattle cool city.
Next time go see volunteer park on Capitol Hill...the conservatory and art museum, now the Asian art museum but was the Seattle art museum in the 1970s...also the U district, UW campus, Suzallo library, Arboretum...the Chittenden locks, and the Smith tower...the once tallest building west of the Mississippi River ❤😊
Contrary to most American cities - Seattle has a great Public Transportation system that works perfectly. Renting a car is about the last thing I would do unless you need to commute in the Greater Seattle suburban areas. Time spent to look for parking - and the price you pay for those can easily add up to what you pay for a night in a motel.
Sure it's green & lush, but it is also so unbelievably BLUE! I'd rather go up the Columbia Tower than the Space Needle. It's much cheaper & less crowded. Both are only worth it though when it's clear. It's pointless if it's cloudy. It's Pike Place Market or the market. I've never heard it called pikes ;) When you go back, try Kau Kau in chinatown for either lunch or dinner. My favorite restaurant in the city. I lived there for 8 years.
😂 right pike place is the street..BTW the Athenian was there in the 70s...ate there frequently...also saw some great music concerts at the paramount on pine st❤
Dear Madam Jaychel, Thanks for nice video and it was really good to see and hear from you the beautiful city Seattle. I am living in Worcester, Massachusetts state , I have been traveling to some cities of the states. Seattle is my next destination for the new year celebration. It is far away by plane ✈️ 7 hours from here but I think it will be worth. Is it good to travel during a winter period to that city? Thanks for responding and best wishes, Khudaverdi.
Hi Khudaverdi! Seattle during the winter is relatively mild temperature-wise, just very rainy and cloudy! The best months are typically June-September for the best weather, especially if you want to do any hikes. However if you’re just visiting the city and more indoor attractions like the space needle, then winter will definitely be less busy and a great option!
What hotel did you stay at? I’m thinking about visiting and renting a car but have heard parking fees are so much. Did you find it was hard to navigate the city in a car? Thanks
We had actually stayed in a hotel in Bellevue! Parking can be super frustrating haha. Driving is more difficult in the city, but doable! They have something called ParkMobile for street parking that is much cheaper than parking garages… but it definitely adds up 😅 there are public transportation options, but we didn’t look too much into that to know how good it was!
@@michellec.9852 Bellevue much easier to navigate since it’s much smaller and not as busy, but Seattle is a bit of a headache (unfortunately). But get validations when you can!! Several places near Pike Place Market will validate parking!
Any tips on renting a car there at the airport? How was your experience and which car rental company? Did you have to wait in a super long line? I’m trying to figure out which car rental I want to rent from there! Please let me know thank you 😊
Hey!! We use Hertz for most of our car rentals and have never had a problem! No long line while we were there, but I imagine that varies. Enjoy Seattle!!
Loved the trip through Seattle but had to slow it down as you both talk so fast and the switching from one scene to another makes my head spin it's so fast. Slow down please!
You could say: I'm having trouble understanding you , the film may be spead up. If you don't mind. Don't rush the film. And of it wasn't rushed pls don't change! Be YOU this is YOU sharingbYOUR experience
Please ignore the squalor of our streets, the threatening homeless people, the mentaly Ill people wondering around like zombies. Don't pay any attention to the crime or businesses fleeing Seattle as a result of the crime. Please do bring a gas mask on the public transportation due to toxic fumes being smoked by our drug addicts. Enjoy!!!!!
I work in downtown Seattle, it's disgusting. I would never bring my family into Seattle or advise anyone to visit. I'm close to retirement so I put up with working in Seattle because I plan on leaving the area soon.
Seattle was so beautiful in the 1970s ❤...I lived on Capitol Hill and walked to classes at UW and walked downtown to work at Frederick and Nelson ❤ what a clean and fascinating place it was
To clarify: there are areas to avoid, as with any metropolitan area. But as a world traveler myself, seattle is far better off than many other cities. Don’t let this opinion snowball into something it’s not. 700,000 people live here. It’s a wonderful and amazing place.
I noticed you posted twice on this video with the same criticism. Yeah, we have some problems. Fentanyl is in every city by now. The positives still outweigh your gripes about isolated problems.
I’ve haven’t been to Seattle. Don’t know when if I ever will, but watching you two is just close enough. Good to spend time with you both virtually. You’re good hosts and your video is amazing

We will be visiting next month and are also staying in Bellevue. A little nervous about the headache of driving and parking in the city.
@@nadiablythe6579 we spent maybe an hour and a half total between walking, grabbing the different food, and gum wall!
