Great comparison a job very well done! Purchased the A800S recently (front and rear) because we felt it offered a decent bang for the buck, was on sale so that bang was even bigger LOL. Waiting on the weather to warm up before we install.
Your videos are well researched & very objective with no gimmicks that others use! For the kind of specialised content you create, the number of subs you have is pretty low. Here are a few things you should do 1. At the end or start ask your viewers to like, share, subscribe ! 2. Add some attractive captions for your videos . 3. Expand your product review portfolio 4. Create you tube shorts for all your videos with some sensational caption !
@TravelTech thanks for various informative videos on DashCams. As I am a newbie in this Dashcam usage have two questions - 1.please suggest what is the best way to review recorded videos in a Dashcam. Is it that we should takeout the camera and switch it on in room because checking things in garrage/parking lot is impractical. 2. The zooming of number plates, is it a feature of the app where some portion can be zoomed in. 3. Is there any way we can connect the camera in laptop via wifi. OR do they have any desktop application. It will be good if you can come up with a video about the usability/features of the dashcam mobile apps because that is also a decisive factor while selecting a model. Thanks. Appreciate your gr8 effort.
1. The best way to review recorded videos is to copy the videos from the micsd card to your pc/laptop using a card reader. No need to take out the entire camera. 2. The zooming of number plates is nota feature of the app. You have to copy the videos to your pc/laptop first and then using a video editing software, zoom in on the required portions within the video. 3. No desktop application. No way to connect to PC/laptop directly as apps are exclusive for smartphones(Android and iOS) only.
@@traveltechyoutube thank you. Can you suggest some free video editing app that can be used for checking SD card recordings, create clippings, and possibly the zoom thing as well. Lastly in my previous comment there was a typo, I intended to mention app related reviews and usability video will be of great help for the audience. Thanks
Thank you for thr information and for the quality review ! May i ask if what is the best dashcam for pickup trucks like ranger in dual cam recording. Im eying for the z50 and a800s . Thank you for the answer.
Hey, thanks for all ur videos. Two questions 1) Does A800s rear camera is also 4K? 2) How much is the maximum size of memory slot we can use? How long it records?
Yes definitely go with A800s as it has higher resolution compared to A500. Its always good to jave 4K resolution. Also, 128GB card is sufficient for everyday use. Here are the links to purchase these two. 1. A800S: amzn.to/3WxWezW 2. Samsung 128GB card: amzn.to/3BK1BCx
Thank you for this information / video; I liked the saturation level comparison you mentioned in this video (night) ; Ended up ordering A500S (single channel) along with Nexdigitron’s CPL filter ; ✅ Found this to be more VFM.
hi there just wanna ask which one would you prefer? I like the A800s resolution and clarity though, I also prefer the saturation of the A500s. And can we adjust the saturation of the footage in the app? Thanks for the vid, But I'm getting torn apart on which one will I buy.
You are doing an excellent work. I saw your videos while searching for dashcams and you got a subscriber :) While looking for the cams, i came across Redtiger F7N. Have you experienced that brand and if yes then can you give me the link pls.
Thank you for appreciating my work. I haven't used Redtiger dashcams personally, so cannot say for sure regarding their quality. But here is the link anyway: amzn.to/3MupOmN
Yes its possible. But two different cams will need two different power outlets. Also you will need to access the dashcams separately via app and cannot use together.
You're vedio is very helpful but I'm confused between A800s & A500s As my heart goes with 800 but my wallet for a500 brother what you suggest it's worth to invest in a800s Please reply Thanks 🙏🙏

Have 2 questions I hope you can answer regarding these 2 cameras. Will the cameras save the speed and gps-location on the recordings, also to be seen, when downloaded to my pc / phone? And, is it possibile to make cameras save recordings, protected from being overwritten? Either by pressing a button og saying "save recording"? I now have the Xiaomi (70mai) Dashcam Pro, which you can "talk to" as for instance "record video", but that will only start the recording after your order, and thus "too late" for the "insidence" to be recorded. This camera has no way of protecting a recording. Very bas in my opinion!
1. Yes these cameras save the GPS data and the speed on the recordings (which you can manually enable/disable) based on your preference. This can be viewed on the recordings after you download it to your pc/phone. 2. These cameras have a dedicated emergency record button on them. When the camera is on, it continues to record video files always. So any 'incident' happening suddenly will definitely will be stored in the dashcam memory card. But when you press on the emergency record button, it saves the file (after you press the button) into a separate folder within the memory card which is protected from getting deleted automatically.
In the long run, there is a possibility of the battery draining out. The better option is to use dashcam battery pack. Watch this to know more: ua-cam.com/video/E0YMYGWT6Xw/v-deo.html
trash. I have the a500s on my Mazda MX5 and it's terrible. If you want excellent perfect parking mode, get a Garmin. It records a few seconds BEFORE the event, where the Xioami ones wake up AFTER the event which makes them useless

GPS provides your exact latitude and longitude position anywhere on Earth. This means in case of any accident/incident if recorded on dashcam, you can provide your exact location as evidence in court to support your claim. Parking monitoring will provide video when the car is parked. So if someone tried to touch/harm your car when it is parked, it is recorded in the dashcam and you can later use it to identify the culprits.

@@traveltechyoutube Thanks a lot. And one more question how much space it takes for 1hr video. It'll be much easier for me to choose perfect Micro SD card for it if I knew that. & which Micro SD card you prefer for these dashcams.
