I got the same feeling that it’s for iKONICS. I found myself reminiscing while watching the mv and it took me back through all the up’s and downs. I’m glad I got to see them grow and mature and they came back stronger.
Bringing the old vibe back, this song reminds me of how i felt when i first listened to Shup Up and Dance. I love that song. Now this song too. I liked the choreo with the female dancers too. I hope that part becomes trend on tiktok cause i wanna do it XD. Of course along with the chorus part too. Thanks for pointing out the Back To The Future similarity cause my dumbass who actually love the trilogy totally missed it. i guess i was blinded by iKON completely. Donhyuk has been really beautiful with this long hair ever since Dive. Back then i was like long hair? at first. But now my god he is so gorgeous. As someone who would have DK as bias if i was an ikonic his scenes in this MV were the most beautiful ones to me. Bobby, i have no words to say. This man was born to stand out among others wherever he goes. He just makes you notice him no matter how others catch your eye, you inevitably gets attracted to him and his aura. Jinan in this comeback caught me off guard with his super high energy and smiles. This tiny cute man was captivating in his dance and free af smiles with no restraint. Actually everyone was smiling and laughing in the MV so much but Jinan's smiles hit me more i guess. He looked like he enjoyed the song the most. Chanu, show your forehead more from now on, please XD. For real, i wanna see this Chanu with his forehead exposed on stage with exactly this confidence. Chanu has grown the most in the journey to me. Yunhyeong should do the endings more. He is so relaxed and laidback in his off stage, non-performing state that i always get minishok everytime he gives such a powerful performance with vocal and dance. And the scene of Yunhyeong and Chanu laughing their a$$es off happily in club will forever be cherished by me. XP June. The member of unique voices in YG/Kpop. You hear his voice one time and immediately recognize it the second time. His voice really decorates songs. And he has been trying new things lately. I'm glad. Overall, my opinion is similar to yours. They really went all out here. This song and music video bring me tears too. Especially after watching their m countdown stage i got so emotional and burst out crying so much. I was kind worried after i found out the title track is going to be retro vibe since there are already bunches of retro songs in kpop through the past years. But iKON definitely slayed this concept I can totally see how much efforts they put in this album and how well prepared they are. They are all so confident and glowing right now. I really believe this will be the beginning of a new era of iKON. Really proud of them.
