Just been sitting on the couch with my boy watching your hunting videos . Great videos jealous of what you eastern state boys have access to hunt. Keep up the good works Jase and Jack West Coast hunters.🤣
Heya Asha!! That’s the best message I’ve seen all day! Moshi and our new dog 🐕 Django are well. Yes Grandpa and I headed to the bush last week. He loved it but got cold at night 🥶 hope your well, give you little sister a hug from us! Daz
Awesome mate!! Great to see another one of your videos mate. Really enjoy watching your vids, they have great content!!! Looking forward to the next part!!!
Welcome back Daz for 2021 on UA-cam.Your passion and drive for all things hunting and outdoors is grouse. The tips and tricks that you put out there are being soaked up by new and old hunters alike.Continued success and safe hunting.Cheers, Rob.PS-your Mrs must be very understanding. She’s definitely a good woman.
What a beautiful creature. Good footage mate. Keep em coming. I've learnt so much from your videos as a new hunter. Cant wait till I actually drop one. Cheers
Great footage of the stag esp with that fat wombat (I think it is lol) at 38:02 walking away in the background. Nice country to hunt in keep up the great work
Well spotted mate! Yes that little brown nugget butt was a wombat. He’d been my only mate all afternoon. Then decided to photo bomb the stag. So cool. 👍🏾
Haha cheers mate, your like me when I watch something I love to work out the mechanics. My skills are still pretty rough. It kinda worked out how I planned but plenty of Room for improvement 🤣
Cheers Kane. It was a surreal moment. Kind of hard to explain. I decided at first glance I wasn’t going to shoot him and was so surprised to see him leave the cover and come all that way over open ground to me. Very memorable experience. I was buzzing
@@IntotheMountains I know that feeling. so hard to explain. I have had the same experience with Fallow bucks. I chose not to shoot, only film and take in the moment. I'm still waiting to have a face to face with a Red. Red are my all time favourite Deer. I cant wait to see part 2. Cheers for sharing
That footage of the stag was absolutely amazing, he was sucking some air trying to find out what you were, he also had a few battle scars on him, that was truly epic Daz🤙🦌👍👍👍
Good stuff daz! Unbelievable footage at the end. Couldnt help but laugh when you found the rubbed cherry tree and got all excited. You make the huge trek up to new south, and then get more excited about potentially seeing a sambar up there 😂👌. Love it, a true victorian mountain man!
Wowser , another awesome video Daz, you really capture the mood and vibe from the road trip to hanging around the camp, more so especially when that stag showed up....would of liked to hear and see you do the doe call that brought him in but haha, looking forward to the next vid buddy
Cheers mate, I think I got some footage in the next part of the hind call I use. It’s just a standard red deer chirp, nothing fancy. I haven’t had too much success with it. Lots of deer just look at you. Glad your enjoying the vids mate. Good luck in the season ahead 👍🏾
i agree with you about the deer being spread out as a lot of green feed every were last few times ive been out was the same saw a few spread out and to far or in wooded areas to get a shot away very hard hunt in these good conditions but country looking great they should breed up good this season
Spot on mate. It seems to be the case across a lot of areas and agree while it might be harder to locate them this year, it’s the perfect recipe for them to bounce back after the fires and culling 👍🏾
Cheers mate! It was a long overdue trip. You know more than most, capturing these rare moments can be just as rewarding as pulling the trigger. Hopefully all these passed stags will get a few more years down the track 👍🏾
Far out. Nice footage. Its been a while. Next time you can take me along with the bow and I will take care of the "little" ones. Also I am not to sure I would that fox get of so lightly. I know what was the big prize, but I cannot leave a fox. PS: I shot my first sambar two weeks ago and I owe you a lot of credit, as I learnt a lot from your videos and channel
Thanks mate. The foxes get there own when I’m not there as do the pigs rest assured. Shared land with many hunters, each have there passion so it’s a respected arrangement. 👍🏾
Hey mark. The main camera I use is the canon vixia/legria g40. Great low light and genuine x20 optical zoom. You can get the 4K version called the xa40
