Time for NZ to say goodbye to super and put all our money and effort into our grassroots. It has taken a while but professional rugby has slowly killed grassroots which in turn has affected our ABs. Keeping our foundation strong is the utmost!
Agreed, but our current CEO of Rugby NZ keeps telling us the NPC “isn’t fit for purpose.”
Wtf?
I fully agree but how do we pay the players?
Interesting concept. I wonder what the effect would be if they stopped pouring resources and effort into Super Rugby, and whether the level of competition would be high enough?
They could also still do an end of season, international tournament too, where the top 4 teams go and play the top 4 Aussie teams or South African...or hell, even organise something in Europe. Just so we are still getting some international exposure.
Is that back to back wins in Auckland for Bay of Plenty?
Go the Bay,
Go the bay !!!
Zarn made the exact same kick which was charged down and cost a try the other week.
Slow, no awareness of his surroundings, no adaption to the situation. Recurring behavior that'll mean he never goes past NPC
@@aserzko3418 bro he's already been in the Blues starting lineup for the last couple of years
@@EATHinNZ Yeah, wrong assumption with NPC, I should have clarified Super rugby. Statement still stands, if the behavior is recurring, the plateau is still there. Not to say he couldn't improve, it's just whether or not the efforts made, we all have weaknesses.
Smaller venue/ground, free entry…is that Auckland’s solution to the week in week out near-empty Eden Park embarrassment?
Yes. However it's not just Eden park. Kiwis just don't go to games 🤷🏼♂️
Bay of plenty took the chances they had,Auckland on the other hand botched many of theirs.
Up the Bay.Battle of the Bays next. Thanks for the upload
wooohoooo go the Bay !!!!!
Sad to see, they couldnt fill a high school ground.Auckland are a disgrace, some of the past players must look on in dispair.ARU,get off your backsides.
Auckland season was already over win or lose. More or less a nothing game. BOP had already qualified for the play offs as well.
Warriors didnt have a problem attracting a crowd when their season was over@hrep14
@@allananderson949 it's not just Auckland that have trouble attracting crowds, it's a problem the entire country has, league fans are just more willing to go and see their 1 team play live, rugby fans seem to want to watch from the comfort of their homes
YEEEEEHAAAAAA STEAMERS!!!!
Well done BOP.
A very disappointing season
for Auckland🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
NZ Rugby has big issues. AUCKLAND RUGBY has BIG BIG ISSUES!!!! Goes to show the big unions might have the coin but certainly not winning rugby .. Well done BOP .. What are you thinking ARU playing this game at a College .. Way to promote a boring brand..
