Everytime I try to use my toes for heel drive I feel like I'm about to slip out of position but when I position my whole foot flat against the ground, it feels better
I think that’s honestly preference. From my opinion I feel more explosive through my toes but then I have friends who say they feel way stronger through there heels
this is for powerlifting and its quite accurate. If you're tryna build muscle and you arch like this you're just asking for an injury and not optimal muscle growth.
It’s not “bad” form per say, but mfs who go extreme arch it’s terrible for your back. I have to arch a little bit to put my body in the right position because of tightness and injuries - but that’s just me
4. Lays down, bench presses.
It’s more than that but alright
@@AK12255 most things make marginal difference
it's about consistency
Bro i hurts morr on front delt if you just lay down flat for bench
@@pseitrends1435 *weak shoulders
So you just invented a new decline position.
4: feet flat, arch a little, breath in, wiggle shoulders in place. Lift of, bench
That's 1.
That's the winner! 😆😁👍🏻
Team #2! 💪
For sure. I like knowing my feet are even and locked in before touching the bar.
So glad to see you on the shorts. Absolutely great channel. Best bench info out there. Much love and respect brother.
Striving to master that toes back. Since I’m pressing thumbs of the smooth. Thus close bench. Mad this is a mission

Wont that affect your spine if you have spinal cord Issues?
Or lead to spinal issues
Depends if you are stiff as a board or actually warmup and work on mobility.
I went from little arch at 60kg to hip in the air at 100kg now. Can't really fix it
I can’t even tell if this is a joke or not

Equipped benching is the joke here.
How are you so close to the bar? I have long arms so it feels like the bar is 1,000 feet away from my chest
I wish I had that flexibility though my hips....
Arching back, bad form.
It’s not
Lol it's not.
couldn’t be more wrong

@garrettauville9371 You should always bench with a slight arch, a completely flat back is bad for your shoulders.
