It's UK Hardcore, as stated in the title. UK Hardcore is also known as Happy Hardcore due to its more upbeat nature whilst retaining 150 - 210 BPM and the quick 4/4 beat that defines any genre of Hardcore.
So much Darren Styles, jsut goes to show how the guy is kinda like the Michael Jackson of UK hardcore. Also, can anyone tell me whats the song at the end?
It's probably more that there's almost no hardcore being made and Darren Styles, Dougal and Gammer are bassically the only significant names in it right now.
So I notice that you go through a list of transitions with effects like the wind down, flanger, the spin back, etc. do you systematically think about how to use the effects sparingly as to not sound cliche? Or are you just focused on the track and how to transition?
donderbroek08 it´s defenetly not hardstyle dude :D ...compare hardstyle beats with the beats these guys´re playing! this is hardcore edm; the beats and basslines of hardSTYLE are ways more destroyed :)

I own the Pioneer DDJ-SB and I'm planning to upgrade... I'm not sure should I go for the Pioneer XDJ-RX (i love the thing that is an all-in-one kit and you don't need a laptop to play live) or the Pioneer DDJ-SX2 or the Pioneer DDJ-SZ (is it worth the $2000+?)...

Ugh, I want one of these so bad, but it looks like they still aren't out in the US and I can't find any information about an official release date
