6 out of 6 and Arjun doesn't get a mention? You think Vidit on board 4 is carrying the team? Rolls eyes.

I don't really see why Arjun deserves "special" treatment and huge encouragement) Yes, 6/6 is a great result but he played against opponents below 2700 and no surprise he beats them, he did his job, he was placed on board 3 to do exactly that. If I win 2200 I don't complain that nobody praises me lol) And we didn't say that Vidit carried the team, it was just reference to first podcast where initially Vidit was on first board before all changes and we said that it was a good idea to put him on board 4 where he belongs because Gukesh, Pragg and Arjun are stronger, so cool down, Mister Rolled Eyes;)

@@GrilledChess So Arjun on board three is beating players of 2200. By that logic Vidit is beating players of 2000.

@@arundhawan8574 I don't know what logic you have but I compared Arjun with myself. If I beat lower rated opponents, I don't expect someone to praise me because it is expected result. There is nothing surprising. So with Erigaisi the same logic works, he did a great job but nothing outstanding. If he beats let's say Caruana, then yeah, it would be outstanding. And leave the Vidit alone, poor guy, don't know why you dislike him so much)

@@GrilledChess I don't dislike Vidit. I just have a problem with your justification. If Arjun at 2790 on board 3 is beating lower rated players, then isn't Vidit at 2720 on board 4 also beating much lower rated players? Go back to my original comment.
