The only fruit cake I adore is my mother's homemade recipe. It's syrupy and stays soft and moist for weeks! Definitely an occasional treat. Store bought dry ass fruit cakes can't compare
Sufganiyot are the go-to treat for Hannukah - basically just a jelly donut. (Or a cross between a beignet and a jelly donut). The doughnut is deep-fried in oil, filled with jam or custard, and then topped with powdered sugar. You actually would have probably enjoyed it had you tried it.
Sufganiyot are actually a Jewish dessert for Hanukkah and it's pretty much a jelly filled donut:) They are so good, fried and served with powdered sugar and jelly. Nowadays they come with all kinds of fillings and toppings, just like donuts♥ Great video as always!
Sofguniot aren't just jelly filled donuts, there are a lot of different kinds, like there is with donuts. But yes, it is usually with jelly, and a bit different from a donut, I think.
I basically did this same challenge on Thanksgiving, and coming from a restrictive eating background it made me realize that weight gain is only temporary and I shouldn't be so afraid of it. Your channel helped realize that :)
My mom makes amazing pumpkin rolls and cheesecakes, also some cookies, during the holidays and it’s awesome! She also makes stuffing and mashed potatoes on thanksgiving
Erik, can you do a video where you eat the food you want and the amount you want. Doesn't matter what it will turn out to be, I'm a little curious if it'll be different.
Eric must be the no 1 competitive eatertainer (eating while entertaining) out there. Been watching yo videos for a few years and still enjoying every new one! Keep it up and stay safe...👍 A big fan from Amsterdam
I am so sad that you declined to try the jelly-filled fried-dough goodness that is the Hanukah treat of sufganiyot. Next up you've got to do a sufganiyot challenge. Take down 10k calories of sufganiyot.
It's always been a fantasy of mine to pick up an entire pumpkin roll and eat it with my bare hands. I'm so jealous of you Erik! 🤣🤣 Great video by the way! Happy Holidays!!!
Eric I love your videos watch them all the time. I dig your new apartment. I see that you feed your dog some of food that you both eat .you know that our kind of food causes cancer right.i'm just mentioning this because I'm also an animal lover.i always had dogs in my life growing up and still have animals. Actually .We just adopted a 4 month puppy.
New Challenge Idea... "Eat Eversthing that your Community sends to you" you may need to say this one month in advance but it would bei really interesting
As a type 2 diabetic that meal would have killed me. Don’t know how you at that much sweet back to back. A vote for fruitcake especially if it’s soaked in rum to take away the dryness of it. Great video.
you should do an ultimate food challenge of all the foods you hate- pickles, fruit cake- all of the E. W. W. s (ily i'm sorry your reactions are just priceless)
Only ate fruitcake once. I stocked shelves in the morning at Costco and probably burned 3,000-4,000 calories during a shift. There were leftover fruitcakes in the break room and I was so hungry I would eat literally anything. Sufganiyot is actually a beignet/donut served for Hanukkah.
You should do the Grinch food challenge. The scene of the Grinch with Jim Carey where people are shoving all the food in his mouth. That would be awesome!
I will absolutely destroy an entire tin of Trader Joe’s Jingle Jangle in one sitting at least twice between Christmas and New Years. Oh, and the one I did on Thanksgiving.
Sufganiot are really good, sad you couldnt get it, it's a tradition food for Hannuka which just ended like a day ago. If you could somehow do a vid on the different kinds of it, it would be cool.

Jesus Christ is our savior, he died on the Cross for our sins. Putting your faith in Him is the only way to get to Heaven when you die✝️🙏
Erik! You need to do "The largest Christmas dinner ever!" for the holidays.

Sufganiot are the Jewish donuts for Hannukah….. they are literally just jelly filled donuts 🍩 but are really good 👍🏻
Learned something today. Thanks 👍🏾
Sofguniot aren't just jelly filled donuts, there are a lot of different kinds, like there is with donuts. But yes, it is usually with jelly, and a bit different from a donut, I think.
Came here to say this! Usually jelly filled donuts with more sugar on top.
I made my own this year! They are awesome
Was about to comment the same :)
these videos are weirdly satisfying to me lol
I basically did this same challenge on Thanksgiving, and coming from a restrictive eating background it made me realize that weight gain is only temporary and I shouldn't be so afraid of it. Your channel helped realize that :)
Same thing with me. I ate like a whole cookie cake and didn’t gain anything 😂
how? by starving urself for days before eating this?
I recommend you check out his video in which he says what he does after a challenge
@@artrisk1304 I know he bikes alot but still its insane
@@bane8305 lol I don’t starve myself. I’m a runner and a swimmer it just burns off with my metabolism
.Sufganiyot' just means Doughnuts in Hebrew'
And instead of having a hole in the middle they are jelly filled
Good job
I can only imagine the suffering in next day or two after these challenges.
Thank you for sharing.

Man, that caramel corn.
My favorite.
Lots of places like "Target" only have it during the holidays.
And man it's good 😉
the legend has rised from the dark yet again to deliver a legendary video
Sufganyot is just a jam filled donut. Traditionally eaten in Israel during Hanukah
How do you replace a jelly donut with snowballs...just get jelly donuts...what the??!!?!!!!!

The pumpkin roll! But I want to try the pecan pie so bad!
It hurt my heart seeing him add chocolate syrup to the pumpkin pie

my favorite item is the ben & jerry's gingerbread cookie dough and I can't wait for more carbsmas videos!!
Damn you ate more calories with those sugar cookies alone than I do the entire day.
Sufgoniyot is basically a jelly filled donut with powdered sugar on them. They are a commonly eaten during Hanukkah.

Erik, no big talks - thank you for entertaining us ..
That Yule roll looked incredible.
I made homemade candy this year and fudge along with a few cookies. None of it store bought though. I am making an apple pie for Christmas.
In the UK we have fruit cake with cheese, something like a strong cheddar. Try it, it's actually not bad!
I would LOVE to have that challenge as a christmas dinner
fudge will always be a fave but I tried a pumpkin roll the other day and it was not that bad
Finally and upload. Missed you LOOOAAAADDDSSS. But the most important thing is your health so no worries
Article:you should try to not eat these foods
Erik:Lol no
Pro tip. Slice your fruitcake and place it on a griddle with a LOT of butter, toast each side.
Carbsmas!!🎄 I was waiting for some ranch to save the day with the fruitcake…!!! Great video as always Erik!!
