I will miss him. He was that friend that I never ever expected to even make. I met him through Tutu Jones back in 2016 or so. It was an audition, and Tutu didn't like me too much and gave me a lot of grief, but Yogie took me in-and, he was trying to include me in projects he was trying to get wind under...as a drummer, and said that he thought I was good...which meant a lot to me considering the fact that Yogie has decades of experience playing with some real badasses. It flattered me. Like I said-the friend I never expected to make, much less keep.
He was best man at my wedding in 2017, more or less...as we had a non-traditional wedding. But Yogie was good enough to direct the cake cutting and pretty much coordinate the whole thing. He is a great man, and one I will miss a LOT.
