Actually when I draw, I spend most of the time on the sketch, because even after a lot of practice I still feel insecure. Then the lineart doesn't take long. To be honest I don't draw lineart so often, both because I mostly draw portraits that don't have lineart and because I draw with a One by Wacom. Drawing lineart with a non-screen tablet is not impossible, but needs a lot of patience. Anyway once I know where I have to draw the line it doesn't take so many tries, and using vector layers on Clip Studio Paint gives the chance to correct lines without having to draw them again.

Depending on the piece I spend anywhere from 1h30m to 5h on line art. My lineart is everything for my art. It almost looks worse when I colour

with that second guy who drew the pink haired girl, i went on his instagram page and hooooollllyyyy craaap. At the start of this year, his drawings where like forced and as if trying to copy anime and uses cell shading alot, and now his drawings are consitantly just fabulus and ohhhh my god how did he improve sooo much. oh my god, i whish i could improve as much as he did. Also, asuming each of his drawings take 3 hours, that means he is drawing like and hour every day, which is really impresive

My art has improved so much because of your videos, especially the ones where you critique other art pieces. 5:41 I go all in or nothing, if I draw in a comic-like style I spend quite some time on the lineart, either way when I paint I dont do lineart at all, just adding values and colors to the sketch!
I like to spend as much time on my lineart as possible as it is the part I enjoy the most. I don't like coloring too much tbh. Also, I don't like unfinished lines in my drawing cause every time I tried to do it I just feel that the drawing is kind of dirty
