Bro, for putting it silent just click on the volume button and tap on bell , then you will find ring, silent and vibration modes. 2) unlike the phone case which you have mentioned there are many cases available in the market jst for nothing phone and are very unique unlike the regular ones and also cost same as normal cases.
about the case, he pointed that the case becomes yellowish overtime and makes the phone appear old and bad

Two bugs that I am facing since day 1 on this phone are still there. First when a video is paused in UA-cam or in any other video streaming app, after the phone gets automatically locked and on to the AOD screen, a part of my lockscreen wallpaper is visible on the AOD. Second the battery graph does not record my exact usage from 100%, it starts whenever i open battery settings to see my usage. Waiting to see these two bugs to get fixed.
I got it on BBD sale. My device dont have these issues. Only issue I've faced on face recognition. But it was solved on the next day update.
First thing is not the issue that it's getting locked, it's a feature which u can turn off and on, this is the feature in which if u r not looking at the screen it will get Locked.

I have been searching for the real problems of the nothing phone 1 rather than hearing the specification over and over again. It was really helpful for me to choose among the nothing phone 1 and S21 fe after this video. and thank you for sharing the honest opinion of the nothing phone 1.

Nothing Service Centres are spread all over the country for a company to start servicing very well is rare and Neither happened to One plus. Carl Pei makes sure this is going to be the best big thing in Android history.

I totally agree with you I've switched from samsung to OnePlus recently and I've also used stock Android for a long time and color os and Vivo ui as well but there is no denying that OneUi is the best and I believe Nothing phone one will be much better in future and it will be worth buying but nothing needs time now to work on their phone

Regarding putting the device on silent, when you click the volume button, on top of the vertical volume bar there is an option to silent the phone

The only thing worrying me about pixel is the service centre. Otherwise I have made up my mind to get Nord 2T. Nothing 1 is good, and the commitment shown by support so far in fixing bugs is really great, but the company has shown it's intention to stay in the market and will definitely bring more phones soon, so I'd rather wait and buy their more refined and better 2nd Gen phones than this one. So yes, going with Nord 2T
Nothing ph 1 is hundred times better than op2t in every aspect other than cam maybe which I can't personally assure but both r of same lvl in both ph

The double step to switch off data is available on every stock android of Android 12, not only Nothing phone.. because I use Moto with Android 12 and I get the same problem because it’s a stock android feature
This can be solved by small modification in core Android code. I'm using Arrow OS rom, which is pure android rom, but it has the mobile data and wifi toggle separately. They can also add network speed indicator, daily data usage monitor. These are some of the minimal customisation that make an OS well balanced.

I don't have this phone, but still I think the bell icon above the volume slider is used to make the phone silent in one click....... Atleast that's what is available in the Pixel Rom I'm using.

got my Nothing Phone 1 on 4th August and till date no Display or Quality Control Issues i have faced , with recent update yes battery life has been fixed and for Day 2 day usage this is the best if your are not a gamer coz games run good but sometimes u feel the frame drops , i am not a mobile gamer but still as far as i play Apex Legends Mobile in this phone i get 60fps with good graphics but then as i play games in my PC in 144hz and zero lag my eyes seems to be not happy with the gameplay in the mobile :D over all i will choose Nothing over Pixel anytime :D

Also I feel that the phone should remain in silent even while using, because multiple times you are at a place where you can't have any disturbance

Very genuine review. I see a lot of people criticising the phone because it's a new product and minor issues it have. Every product has bugs, there's not a single one in the planet without any bugs. We must be so happy that, even after all this the devs are giving constant updates to ensure that they satisfy their customers needs and give them a greater experience. I had set my mind for Google pixel 6a but after watching your video you put me in a deep confusion between pixel and s21 fe. 🙄
My mind said go for pixel and my brain said get the 21 Fe! And by the way I am already using Samsung m52 5G , and previously I had 'Android one' phone 'Xiaomi Mi A1' not pixel, nevertheless I will choose stock Android over one UI, definitely one UI is more feature rich but stock Android in pixel has some exclusive features which are nobody gives.

One thing you mentioned about switching the phone to silent.. that you have to go inside settings and then make it silent.. well you can simply press the volume key once, you get 3 options which you can select: silent, vibration and sound.

Hey, I'am an avid tech geek, who kind of follows alomost all possible things around this industry. Even while this phone came out, I thought I will just buy it no matter how it performs but after looking at it it kind of kept me skeptical. Well the whole point I am trying to say is they way you addressed all the requirements of knowing a phone before buying it ris extremely good! Kudos to you and your team on great job! where everyone is busy reading out spec sheet you actually solved the problem of knowing on ground performance.

2:56 you don't have to slide down the volume entirely. when you click the volume button, u can then click the bell symbol above the slider and use the toggle to vibrate/mute the phone from general.
