Gunther is at a point where he can lose one match, and be fine. In fact, him losing the IC Title would free him up to do world title stuff. Gunther has had two title runs since he signed- and this is the shortest of the two.
I heard somebody say they should do a Mania 9 callback and have Sami just fall short and then a cocky Gunther challenges Chad to an match and Chad beats him.
Sets up Sami v Chad for the future too.

This drew character I think is similar to his character in IDW. I think the Chosen One was his gimmick when he went back there after leaving wwe the first time. With that said, Joe Hendry should have come out.
He technically already has mentioned seeking counsel from legends when he first referenced talking to the Rock, so he could just call back to that and say something like the Rock isn't the only legend he talked to.
The daughter angle made a LOT more sense here than it did with Gable

HotTake: stone Cold , Cena and Undertaker do not need reasons to interfere in this matchup, Personally With this Being WrestleMania 40. I can understand that this mania is a celebration of the times before and celebrating the future. Its gonna be one big passing of the torch 3 generations to another new one also love the setup that cody has no hope going into night 2 his reinforcements come being Jey, seth maybe KO or Sami but there still not enough but once the glasses shatters that turns the tide.
Gonna be honest, I thought the Cody and crowd pointing was a really good baby face moment.
It was a nice segment but the rock is still super unnecessary.
How is just having the glass shatter not already earned? 4+ years of intimate history between him and the rock it makes all the sense you don’t need anything more.

Rock repeats himself too much. Man said Mama Rhodes like 25 times in less than 10 minutes. It's not a dense story he really doesn't need to reinforce the story beats that often
If he just had more of a full villainous monologue prepared it would have been classic tbh. But yeah what we got was awkwardly underwritten

Stone cold should make absolutely no appearance before that wrestlemania makn event. You can't make it seem inevitable, just a possibility because fans are putting pieces together like now. Then, that pop will be remembered for decades.

I think when it comes to the swearing my guess would be its only for the main eventers and for big angles and also if it makes sense for a storyline. I wouldn't be expecting like ricochet to be swearing at Chad gable before there match in 15 second backstage interview for example, so I'm good with everyone not being allowed to swear unless it's really needed
I'd go the classic sports anime roite were in the end cody gets roman to remove everyone from ringside and do a 1v1 and have cody remind roman why his family wrestles and makes him a face in the end. The match continues with a bunch of near falls and kick outs. Both guys beat up and gassed and ends with the last one to their feet.
You don’t even need Cody to acknowledge Austin and rock all you need is the rock to cut a rock promo saying there’s a reason TKO chose him over Austin Cena at the end of the day the rocks are bigger star

Only reason Cody and Roman been so boring is because what I hear from other podcasts and fans is that they already build this feud last year so they dont feel

I both loved and hated this segment. The best parts were Punk and McIntyre, BUT I am so over Rollins, his world title reign has fallen flat, no part of it was ever interesting, the fact that it took like a minute before Rollins and Punk started chanting at each other because Rollin's theme is constantly being sung? Almost broke the promo for me, oh winking at kayfabe like how they were doing screamed WCW 2000 too me....
The only way Roman wins to mee is if new members debut night 2 Jacob, Zilla, Lance and potentially Rikishi might help which make the bloodline a threat no joke.

All the rock had to say was something like “this is courtesy of the final boss. The Rock’s tribal chief Roman reigns and the bloodline” it reacknowledges Roman and tribal chief as make it seem like he’s being sent by Roman
