Ever since portable grinders became ready available nothing really is safe anymore

Good video SLIGHT_ I have had one of these and my only comment on these would be to watch out for the batteries. They are small and they tend to drain out very quickly. If you are parking out of a garage, I have always taken a light bike over with me and covered the bike. It means that any potential thief has to take the risk of being seen looking under the cover before deciding on whether its worth stealing. For the opportunist thief that is usually enough to make them go look at a less risky target. I should perhaps clarify, I use the cover when parked overnight, not on every stop where I am away from the bike. That's when I would use one of these types of lock. BUT, for goodness sake remember to take it off. Trying to ride away and forgetting that you have this on makes for an unpleasant day 😞

The cover idea is a solid suggestion. That makes sense… I’m spoiled… I always have mine in the garage… so she doesn’t sit outside often. Thanks for your comment!

I would go with a Grom clone and build it with a z's,190cc 5 speed direct replacement engine kit should go 80mph and doesn't need any oil mods and sell the 125cc you can build a Grom killer spending the same money as a stock Grom and Grom parts fit the clones for replacement if needed. For a Grom to come close to a full built clone it would cost 6000$ to duplicate the build because of the sticker price for the Grom 😉👍💯🛠️

@@SLIGHT_ 1800$ if you sell 125 for 200$ would be the cost including the engine swap you would be at1800$ you still could put 2200$ in it to equal a stock Grom in Price so you can build a sick as clone that a real Grom in price or speed can't touch with out spending twice the price on there build you could replace the parts with OEM and 99 percent of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between one LoL have a great one till the next one 😉💯🛠️👍✌️🏍️🍻

Good luck with this piece of crap. Used it twice. And the second time the key won’t work. So, now I sit here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with my front wheel off and waiting until Monday so I can buy a new disc rotor.

This is the weakest disc lock on the market. I bought several of those, on Amazon, throughout the years, until the day I forgot to remove it from my front disc and took off on my Kawasaki Z900 RS Cafe. It broke like butter, thanks God, because I did not fall and my bike did not get damaged. That's the reason it is so light, compared to the Stockton Alarm Disc Lock I had before. I'm going back to Stockton or Kryptonite!

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve yet had any issues with mine. As far as your situation, can I ask you how the pin didn’t get lodged with the brakes? More curious how it didn’t damage the rotor at minimum.
Thank you for your information dude!

@@SLIGHT_ It was God's Mercy, man. It broke in the base and opened up falling on the pavement. I still had the Stockton, heavy made with solid metal, that I was not using because it was dirty and difficult to unlock. I just had to clean it up with WD40 and keep using it, but I was lazy. I'm so glad I was not using it, because I would have fallen and maybe got hurt and my bike would be damaged for sure.

Two people can pick it up and put it in a pick up truck. The best cheapest thing that actually works and can get your bike back if stollen is a air tag or Samsung tag GPS you can hid it any were put a 18650 external battery it will stay working for at least 5 years before a battery charge or change is needed. 😉⚒️💯👍✌️🏍️📡

Great point. Unfortunately with the air tag option it rats itself out with a notification to iPhones in the area. This could stop the theft as well.
To your point anything you do is only adding a speed bump to the theft process. If you make it more complicated, with some luck the individual will move on.

@@SLIGHT_ there actually ways around that as long as you time it out every 15 min it won't ever send out a notification and still work. @@josephsaucedo8691 love to hear that.
It was my understanding there was an issue with people using AirTags to follow vulnerable people to their homes. Hence why it was added a few years back a notification to other iOS to notify the person there is an active AirTag within their phone. Has this been turned back off?
I’ve always loved the AirTag idea yet when I was doing my research on them it was found they’re extremely easy to bypass. Maybe I should revisit this. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the info.
