Slight edit: It appears T4/T5 awakened items DO get their bonuses in non-lethal areas. So the ones that can be leveled up in safe zones can be used fully in safe zone content.
I was worried about this, glad to see that they aren't letting extremely rich players dominate content with 0 risk. Im guessing they don't work in arenas then?
@@paulou5387 that's true, but i guess that's something people would cry about and call it p2w, since you can just pay for extra strength, without any risk of loosing the gear. Arena has hard cap to make it fair for everybody and from what i heard these effects all don't work in most non-lethal zones, so i guess their take is to risk it if you want to enjoy the benefits
@@paulou5387you can still get an increase of like 100-200 ip, and that's still alot in competitive scene. Imagine the whole enemy team with 200 ip advantage, you wouldn't stand a chance. Then again, legendary items would still dominate in places such as yz mists.

They specifically mentioned arenas, that these will not work on them in dev talk
i mean in arena your ip is veeeery nerfed so even if it worked it would not be useful

Yea but YZ mist suck and I don't think people are gonna awake 8.4 items unless they doing RedZone mist
