Gonna say it:
No champion should ever be able to flat disable masteries. First dex and now willpower, I feel like the design team is gradually getting worse.
Don't put this on design team they only do animations

First Photon, then Onslaught, now Dust. I'm getting *REAL TIRED* of Champs that shut off Willpower.
Makes sense in champs placing tons of different debuffs.
But all her debuffs can be placed as passives anyways so why bother with the willpower shut off 🤷🏻♂️
@@SirOmegaSavior Atleast if it was on predominantly offensive Champs I'd be fine with it, but giving that ability to hardcore defenders just...feels a little unfair imo. The Willpower mastery exists for the sole purpose of having a little breathing room in a hectic, Debuff-riddled match. What's the point of even investing in the mastery if this is the pattern for Debuff based defenders henceforth?
What next? A Cosmic Champ that shuts off Mystic Dispersion somehow?
And having her reverse your will power ? What's the reason of having the mastery then (remember photon applies petrify so despair+petrify will slap hard af) @@primerprime596

Considering how ridiculous the AW tactic is and how they are continuing the trend for the next ones, I’m sure kabam just wants to roadblock us out just like their first iteration of defender champs such as kindred, photon, Bullseye, and now Dust.

I am hoping for a Rogue rework compared to other mutants she succs 😢. She is supposed to be OP also a Phoenix buff would be nice even if she is not a mutant in game. Cyclops also need a massive buff.
I still think Mystique (and Chameleon by extension) will be the only “casual” marvel character who won’t be added as she brings nothing to the table

It’s awesome to see Dust, her animations, her abilities, and all the other stuff; however, I do miss when the synergies would be revealed in the deep dives as well.
kabam could have done more with sp3 animations. It is too simple. Omega Sentinel and Ultron is one of the bests

Kabam Team. Thank you for this wonderful Deep Dives. I really like the explanation on how the champion works and the rotation guide. ... I certainly have loved a Deep Dive of the ORIGINAL SpiderGwen and how to take advantage of the SP1 that I never was able to use properly or fully understand what was its purpose and how the designer team spected us to use as an advantage. Best wishes and success.
Man, IMO the logic and coding approach to the coding of this new sand debuff should have probably included adding exclusion parameters for Sandman, Terrax and Dust herself, so their shared command over the element could give them resistances to its full duration (maybe 50%).
Some may think Sandman should be immune to it, but I can see why limited resistance would suffice. Hopefully it doesn't take months for that tweak to make it in (and apply it to the Inhuman Crystal too if they ever see fit to add her).
Her animation is just 💥 🤯 , bang on . But gonna be real tough fighting her , during that sand passive .
for some reason her sandstorm animation reminds me good old games of PS1 and PS2, but of course with better graphics. It is so satisfying watching her!!
Ngl I’m kinda salty sandman didn’t get those sand and sandstorm debuffs, could’ve made his kit a little cooler. Plus if anything he should be immune to sand

She is a decent counter, she just can't do anything about his evade

@@pratikroy227 Without any synergies, Dust is bleed immune and benefits everytime Bullseye attempts to use bleed on her. Subsequently, she is inherently a better counter.
You don't need a champion to be designed to counter another one. You just need to know how to counter it with good gameplay😂

She herself is a painful defender. It's like terrax and photon had a baby. How many of the tech Champs has access to incinerate?

She looks awesome, but my sadness for one of my fav characters, Sandman, is unreal. At least give him one more chance at a buff, or even immunity to the sand debuff!
SP3 is somewhat reuse of the heavy attack animation. There was a scene of her in Wolverine and the x-men animated show where she takes down an airplane. Was expecting something big like that.

Is dust has no effect of unstoppable like Valkyrie. In chanpion rotation's kingpin fight he was still reacting to hits while he was unstoppable..

Hoping she gets a buff but very unlikely. As far I know Gladiator is the only champion that is getting a real buff from last year's champions and most was nerf.
Don’t worry about her damage yet, the deep dives aren’t known for representing a champion well, look at Knull for instance. Wait until she releases officially and we get hands-on looks at he
And anyways her damage isnt bad she throws repeated decent damage special instead of one big one its more of a repeated damage than a burst or big crit person
