I met my bestfriend in 2005 - we were just kids. She was living overseas and I was living in Australia. I didn’t see her again until 2014 - and we only had 3 days to catch up with each other. I knew I loved her then and would spend the next two years chasing her, watching her get hurt by other guys who only wanted to use her, watched her cry, get angry - I was just a fly on the wall. I remember asking her so many times to be my girlfriend but she kept saying no until.... 2016 - April, just after my birthday. I asked her again and she said yes! I flew overseas to see her and we spent and cherished every second of the 30 days we had together. Fast forward to now - we’re married, we’ve got plans for the future, planning kids, a house and she’s moving countries so that we can finally live together. Never give up on love if you feel it in your heart. If it’s meant to be, it will be. No matter the distance, if love is true, no matter the time, if love is true, love will always find a way. So I decided ask her out. So I did. But she told me she already had a boyfriend. Of course. It sucked at the moment. But what I didn’t expect was to see her again on that same day. She was waiting for her bus alone and I kinda just thought. “Well I mean nothing wrong with being her friend.” And so I decided to approach her once more. And we literally talked until the sun went down. She didn’t even end up going on her bus. And after that conversation we just hit it off and just had a vibe that neither of us ever had before. (Even she admitted it was an insane feeling how comfortable we were with each other right off the bat). We ended up getting boba that same night and I dropped her off Home. (Nothing sexual or anything else happened) But it was one of the first meetings I’ll never forget. And now that we’ve grown so much closer in just a span of 2 months. I just always want to be around her and even if I’m not her boyfriend, just want to take care of her. I know in other perspectives it sounds like a bad Home wrecking story. But the way she words things and is with me is a different vibe from what I see when she’s with her actual boyfriend. And I’ve hung out them both together, and it hurts, a lot. But I don’t wanna let go of her at all. I feel if I do, that I just lost someone really important in my life regardless if she was my girlfriend or not. So now, I’m honestly in the process of waiting it out. And I hope everything turns out for the best. If you read through that whole sob story. No one will probably read this, but I just want to know if something similar to my story had ever happened to anyone else- I had this guy friend ever since preschool, and we were pretty good friends. In first grade, we would sometimes jump off of benches in the gym in aftercare once everyone else had left and it was just us. We would pretend that we were flying and flapped our arms up and down like wings while singing "I Believe I Can Fly" (we sang it at our pre-k graduation). I was always last in aftercare, and he was because him mom was (and still is) a staff member/teacher.. We also used to hang out during summer camp, but rarely during school hours. We were friends in elementary school, and then after 6th grade in middle school, he left for 7th grade. (We started hanging out more in 6th grade, even though we both weren't in aftercare anymore.) After he left, I'd been thinking about him... a lot. What I mean by that is about every single day. I didn't know it at the time, but I really missed him. I then started to remember how nice his smile was and his sense of humor and... yeah, I developed a crush on a guy I hadn't seen in over a year. Then, a couple months ago (I'm in 8th grade now), there was a Halloween event at our school. I saw him there with his mom (who was one of my elective teachers), but we didn't say hi to eachother. Instead, I was so surprised that I greeted everyone else but him (his mom, sister, godmother...). Later at the Halloween event, from a far distance, I turned to look at him and he looked at me at the same moment. We stared at eachother for a few seconds, and then he turned away to continue talking to somebody else. Both of our faces were blank, and I have no idea up to this day what he was thinking. For the rest of the night, we didn't talk to eachother. I hadn't seen him since then. Bless your soul if you read my whole comment. Lord, help me ;-;

I came back here to say that I'm so grateful to have my boybestfriend even for a short period of time, I'm happy that he became part of my life and I became part of his life. We met in 2009 and he left in year 2010, I Waited for almost 12 years and trying to find him. With the help of friends and my family I already know where did they go with his family, So sadly I find out that my boybestfriend passed away in year 2015. This was me and my first love’s go to song. We met when this song released in 2012, and we listened to it everyday and every time we met, compared our future and imagined it to be just like the song itself. We didnt expect to make the fall, and because we were so young, we didnt know how to deal with it, but the only way for me to know that it was something special was that it was the *first* time I have ever felt that way towards anyone. A year later we lost contact, we met different people and we lost touch. But somehow we managed to cross paths again, only this time we already had others. We fought over our mishaps, and we felt that we just were two people who would only cross each others paths and nothing more or less to it. So we lost touch again. I didnt know that It would be our last conversation. When In the next four years after 2018, I found out he had taken his own life. I never expected him to do it. It made me confused.. why i felt a needle pierce through my heart the moment I confirmed it was true that he passed away. I realised then how important it was to value ones memories and touch, ones love and whilst they still live. I hope no one has to go through the guilt and regrets that I feel. I met my bestfriend in 2005 - we were just kids. She was living overseas and I was living in Australia.
I didn’t see her again until 2014 - and we only had 3 days to catch up with each other. I knew I loved her then and would spend the next two years chasing her, watching her get hurt by other guys who only wanted to use her, watched her cry, get angry - I was just a fly on the wall. I remember asking her so many times to be my girlfriend but she kept saying no until....
2016 - April, just after my birthday. I asked her again and she said yes! I flew overseas to see her and we spent and cherished every second of the 30 days we had together.
Fast forward to now - we’re married, we’ve got plans for the future, planning kids, a house and she’s moving countries so that we can finally live together.

If anyone is feeling this same way don’t worry. Here’s my story:
I met her 2 months ago at a Talent Show (that she won) at my college and thought she was cute and a great singer. So I decided ask her out.
So I did. But she told me she already had a boyfriend. Of course. It sucked at the moment. But what I didn’t expect was to see her again on that same day.
She was waiting for her bus alone and I kinda just thought. “Well I mean nothing wrong with being her friend.” And so I decided to approach her once more.
And we literally talked until the sun went down. She didn’t even end up going on her bus. And after that conversation we just hit it off and just had a vibe that neither of us ever had before. (Even she admitted it was an insane feeling how comfortable we were with each other right off the bat). We ended up getting boba that same night and I dropped her off Home. (Nothing sexual or anything else happened)
But it was one of the first meetings I’ll never forget. And now that we’ve grown so much closer in just a span of 2 months. I just always want to be around her and even if I’m not her boyfriend, just want to take care of her. I know in other perspectives it sounds like a bad Home wrecking story. But the way she words things and is with me is a different vibe from what I see when she’s with her actual boyfriend.
And I’ve hung out them both together, and it hurts, a lot. But I don’t wanna let go of her at all. I feel if I do, that I just lost someone really important in my life regardless if she was my girlfriend or not. So now, I’m honestly in the process of waiting it out. And I hope everything turns out for the best.
If you read through that whole sob story. I thank you and appreciate it, just know that you are not the only one dealing with some kind of crazy love story. Or you can see this as another dude in his 20’s in real need of venting.

No one will probably read this, but I just want to know if something similar to my story had ever happened to anyone else-
I had this guy friend ever since preschool, and we were pretty good friends. In first grade, we would sometimes jump off of benches in the gym in aftercare once everyone else had left and it was just us. We would pretend that we were flying and flapped our arms up and down like wings while singing "I Believe I Can Fly" (we sang it at our pre-k graduation). I was always last in aftercare, and he was because him mom was (and still is) a staff member/teacher..
We also used to hang out during summer camp, but rarely during school hours. We were friends in elementary school, and then after 6th grade in middle school, he left for 7th grade. (We started hanging out more in 6th grade, even though we both weren't in aftercare anymore.) After he left, I'd been thinking about him... a lot. What I mean by that is about every single day. I didn't know it at the time, but I really missed him. I then started to remember how nice his smile was and his sense of humor and... yeah, I developed a crush on a guy I hadn't seen in over a year. Then, a couple months ago (I'm in 8th grade now), there was a Halloween event at our school. I saw him there with his mom (who was one of my elective teachers), but we didn't say hi to eachother. Instead, I was so surprised that I greeted everyone else but him (his mom, sister, godmother...). Later at the Halloween event, from a far distance, I turned to look at him and he looked at me at the same moment. We stared at eachother for a few seconds, and then he turned away to continue talking to somebody else. Both of our faces were blank, and I have no idea up to this day what he was thinking. For the rest of the night, we didn't talk to eachother. I hadn't seen him since then.

I came back here to say that I'm so grateful to have my boybestfriend even for a short period of time, I'm happy that he became part of my life and I became part of his life. We met in 2009 and he left in year 2010, I Waited for almost 12 years and trying to find him.
With the help of friends and my family I already know where did they go with his family, So sadly I find out that my boybestfriend passed away in year 2015. It hurts a lot for me, I didn't comment here immediately after I heard that he passed away because the only thing I did is cry inside my room. I save a lot of courage to tell this. This was me and my first love’s go to song.
We met when this song released in 2012, and we listened to it everyday and every time we met, compared our future and imagined it to be just like the song itself.
We didnt expect to make the fall, and because we were so young, we didnt know how to deal with it, but the only way for me to know that it was something special was that it was the *first* time I have ever felt that way towards anyone. A year later we lost contact, we met different people and we lost touch. But somehow we managed to cross paths again, only this time we already had others. We fought over our mishaps, and we felt that we just were two people who would only cross each others paths and nothing more or less to it. So we lost touch again. I didnt know that It would be our last conversation.
When In the next four years after 2018, I found out he had taken his own life. I never expected him to do it. It made me confused.. why i felt a needle pierce through my heart the moment I confirmed it was true that he passed away.
I realised then how important it was to value ones memories and touch, ones love and whilst they still live. I hope no one has to go through the guilt and regrets that I feel. Please make sure you connect with people who you miss. Even if you dont expect them to feel the same way. Do it for yourself.

2007-2008: We became classmates but I don’t know him
2009: He gave me flowers on valentines day. Then we became friends before the school year ends.
2010: He became my closest guy friend.
2011: He was my bestfriend at that time. That year he confessed and I also confessed.
2012: He was very affectionate and showy with his feelings. But we separated ways.
2013-2014: We still have our communication.
2015: Suddenly our communication just stopped.
Those 3years I waited for him to take our relationship to another level but nothing happened. Eventhough it was only a puppy love. I realized that maybe it wasn’t meant for us to be more than friends. Knowing that we are both young and immature at that time. That relationship that I was expecting won’t work.
