That's insane BTW, but Is that considered a curl though, cuz I curled 70 kg at 70 kg bodyweight and my gym partner said since it was not a complete curl and not even a half rep, it can't be considered a curl.

That's not a curl. That's a guy that's using his back and momentum to his advantage(in my opinion). Wouldn't you get more benefit by dropping the weight a bit, and using proper form? Having said that, I don't know shit about armwrestling and the training required for it, so maybe this is how they do it?
He's training for Armwrestling and to build strength so no need for proper form he isn't focusing on muscle growth

It's armwrestling specific training, partial reps, in case you don't know.
@@MohitGuptaFitLifeJourney Whatever it is, this is not curling. This is a tiny bit of curling and static hold mixed. We all know at the top position (point of contraction) you can hold/partial curl 2x, 3x more weight.

It doesn't matter, even if he is not doing complete curls cause trying to hold that much weight and trying to balance it is a feat on its own.

Just saying this is not strictly a bicep or concentration curl. This is partial curl at point of contraction which is much much easier
Denis Cyplenkov had the wr of 113 kg of strict curl. A beast in arm wrestling as well. I think strict curls might be good for the sport as well, since he did them.

Its specific training for armwrestling, the range of motion is partial.
