    Wow you have patience! God Bless U! Just one of many oil leaks on this engine. Worst engine engine Audi made.

      Thats funny because its the precursor to the coveted 3.0t sharing many same designs. 2.0t is the worst with the timing recall.

    Did you put silicon on both sides of the gasket?

    What is the part number for the breather hose assembly gasket? The round green one.

    So, I appreciate the video, but this is NOT how anyone should diagnose, trace or repair oil leaks. Risks taken with expensive parts, no confirmation on where the oil leak came from, weird process, no precautions, unnecessary work, and so on and so forth. If your 3.2 has oil leaks, there are other how-tos out there with actual information. Also, it’s probably our cam control solenoid seals and vacuum pump gaskets anyway… and no need to even take off the intake. :P

    What brand silicone you use for that? I'm having a oil leak as well and don't believe it's the rear main seal leaking

    • @wyseave
      @wyseave 2 роки тому +1

      I heard the rear main seals rarely leak , it’s mostly likely your oil filter housing leaking they go bad on these engines.

      @@wyseave You absolutely know your stuff man 👍 I had a mechanic look at it and he said the same thing. So the problem is him able to get to my car due being so busy.

      Seems like that sensor it's on the fuel rail... i think it's either a fuel pressure sensor, or fuel temperature sensor.

    Please, for the sake of all professional techs out there, do not post fn videos.... "they used silicone, but not enough silicone" is a sentence that only hack guys say. There's a fuckin gasket that exists on the crankcase cover and it is absolutely the only thing needed in there. Just have to know how to prep the surfaces properly, which you obviously do not know how.... silicone is NEVER the answer to a leak.
