I've spent months editing a playlist which is now quite huge. All I want to do is have my songs organised alphabetically by the artist. To do this manually would take me hours upon hours. I don't understand why there isn't more options for how you want your playlist to be organised.

The video claims to show us how to edit Playlists, but that's misleading. You can't edit a Playlist unless you can organize it, but there is no way to organize a Playlist - not alphabetically, not by Song, not by Artist, not by Genre, not by Date Added, not by anything. Because of that, there is no way to visually search a Playlist for duplicate songs, so songs repeat because they're duplicates. (I know I can delete them when that happens, but really?)
This is especially important to me because I have very large Playlists, including one with 2400 songs.
YT Music users have been complaining about these issues for years; why weren't they fixed before GPM users transferred over?

@Tom Kelly did you ever find a way to fix your problem? I need to transfer all my music into one playlist, but I don't know how, and when I watch the YT videos they don't tell me how either. 1:00 When there are only 3 songs in the playlist, like the video above, it's easy to delete them as you explain. But when you have 3,000 songs in your playlist, you won't be able to find a song to delete. That's the problem I'm facing right now. This is a serious planning bug of UA-cam Music. Once you add music to a large playlist, you can never remove it.

Good luck adding 100 songs to your playlist. Without multiple song selection. It will take you hours. I’ve been there.

When checking artist's songs you should be able to arrange it the way you can arrange your playlist, same goes for Albums
And you should be able to select multiple songs to add to your playlist to make it more easier than adding them one by one

There needs to be an easier way to delete a song from a playlist! I have a playlist with over 2000 songs. The only way I can find to delete a song from the list is scroll through the whole list on a scavenger hunt to find it then swipe left on the song to delete. I tried to delete from the “up next” but this only skips to the next song and does not get rude of the song from the actual playlist. UA-cam, please add an option to “delete from playlist” option when the song is playing.

Just one issue I have with UA-cam Music, and that is the ability to sort within my Playlists (Was Possible in Google Music) . If I open a Playlist, I would like to sort that Playlist by Artist or Song ext. Are there any way that I can do this basic feature?

I wish the youtube can make the app more easily used. Sometimes adding songs is annoying. You need them to add one by one. It takes too much time. The apple music is much more user friendly. So i hope they do something about it.

I need help. I use UA-cam Music and UA-cam alot. However, I have two accounts for reasons I can't remember. I use youtube on one and YT music on another. I hate this. I have to switch and keep track of this if I want my playlists, likes, etc on both platforms to stay up to date but really want to merge into one. My request is easy (or should be). I have a “Your Likes” UA-cam Music playlist and want to be able to PERMANENTLY sort the songs into the order I want. This request is impossible for UA-cam to understand. You can only temporarily drag songs into a sort order which will immediately revert to the previous sort order after you close the app.
For a company that prides itself on technical achievements and abilities, it’s baffling that this one small request that I’ve seen voiced by many others remains on the back burner. Whenever I receive an update notification to the app, I’m hoping maybe this time. Oh well, maybe some day.

@@jewellcurry3468 you click on the playlist and there's an icon that looks like a pencil. Click on that and on the right side of the tracks you'll be able to move songs up or down. Then press done to save it. Unfortunately for me it doesn't work. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

So how do I make the acutal playlist show up in the youtube music app. Because I've made the same playlist twice now, one private, one public, neither of them show up in my youtube music app. They show up on my playlist on the actual youtube website, but not the music app where I actually need the playlist.
