Hindu scriptures basically say that the world undergoes an unending cycle of creation and destruction. Every creation starts with a roar of the god Rudra. There are some ancient mathematical calculations which may not be possible to prove by today's scientific standards and assertions, but they essentially happen to tell the age of the universe. According to those ancient texts, this world we live in is created by the 84th roar of Rudra.
Sadhguru is trying to link the ancient Hindu philosophy of creation with modern scientific theories.
In Hinduism, the three supreme gods Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma and their nature and behaviour has also been equated to that of neutron, proton and electron respectively.

84th bang is a CLAIM, you monotheistic culture people. This is not a belief, being forced on someone. It is a claim/suggestion/nudge-wink. No one in that room with Sadhguru who did not experience believe his nonsense, But would not even dismiss it as BS ,as it is a claim not in their experience.

When you listen to Sadhguru especially on such matters you should surrender your logic because he does not say this to make sense. Even Osho would have said the same thing but he was never asked such a question.
