- BONKERS! little 40cc losi DBXL....a right pocket rocket!
This has some teething troubles drive train wise, despite plenty of upgrades and mods.... as expected really. A work in progress but the owner Matt was really pleased with it. light weight, fast and fun!
Spec drive train wise from the owner:
fid racing 5ive t Centre diff with rcmax diff cup in centre! Fid racing front n rear diffs with fid racing diff cups, 9mm fid driveshafts flm front centre driveshaft and losi 5b rear driveshaft mounted into flm connector as driveshaft brace has been removed! Engine mounted on a chassis plate! 5ive t battery tray is modified to fit dbxl

What center diff was that? I love it does anybody know??
Is that the only place you blokes can run is the soccer pitch?
What is the type of engine.? Rcmax 40..? Does it required special frame to bolt into the stock dbxl chassis? Im eager to get one. Check mine .

I have had a DBXL for 3-4 years now. Never got through a tank if fuel without something breaking... down right awful design... buy a 5T... it works out cheaper in the long run...

What's the point of driving around in a flat grass field?
Speed, you can’t get speed on jumps.
@@JustRockRC try a side road. At least you can drift there and speed as well
Remember what this car is. It’s 40cc. You need an open area to run it safely. Side road?... with curbs and things to hit? No thanks. The engine alone with pipe etc is £1200 odd.... so an open area is the way to go. The other issue is finding good spots where the noise is not an issue and are accessible.... might have found one so fingers crossed to get there.
Blasting about with a car like this is a buzz even on a relatively unexceptional surface... it’s a challenge as you can see.... maybe try it. with mates there too even better!
