I think the immediate future of AI art may well be custom models, but the end game will still be a product which can do everything well. Similarly, products will eventually be able to deal with hallucinations on their own (perhaps using techniques discovered in open source.) It's like using dedicated programs to upscale AI generated video, then seeing a new product pop up that actually generates video in high resolution. This technology is advancing so quickly that workarounds are really just temporary fixes while the actual fix is in the works.
I had the experience as a once content creator that YT would make getting monetized as difficult and convoluted as possible. This included bizarre method of verifying my home address, demanding copies of ID, random copyright strikes, etc. Yes, Google moved over to the dark side a long time ago.

Hey Matt, I just wanted to follow up on this whole subscribe issue because it's been driving me crazy. I watch all my AI-subject videos on my smart TV. Once again, it shows that I'm not subscribed to your channel. This time, before resubscribing, I went to my UA-cam phone app. There, it showed I was in fact still subscribed. I then checked a browser on my PC and it too showed I was still subscribed. So the issue may just be app-dependent. However, having said that, I immediately went to some of my other subscribed channels, like Matt Wolfe's, on my smart TV, and it showed I was still subscribed. So it's only your channel that's doing this weird thing. The good news, it appears, is that your videos still show prominently in my feed, and it only seems to be a smart TV app issue for me, albeit a very confusing and frustrating one. Hey Bro, love your stuff. For your health keep on top of Vitamin D and magnesium, Most people are deficient because we miss a lot of sunlight and dont have complete diets. Direct sunlight is good for vitamin D but the UV will damage your skin over time too so supplements usually work well. A multivitamin is generally a good idea too and will help your immune system function. I find it easy to miss my macro and micronutrients as well when I am working on my computer all day and has taken me 29 years to figure how to maintain but defs worth tracking. Exercising and maintaining your body is as important as maintaining and exercising your brain as well! Peace!

I can't wait for an image generating chatbot, that has vision, which you can comminicate with and guide to generate and revise images until you end up with exactly what you've originally imagined. As an artist, that would be revolutionary. I don't draw because I like stroking the canvas for hours every day; I draw to create visual depictions of my imagination. Working with an AI to do that 10,000x faster would be absolutely amazing.
you mention zephyr's ability to rhyme.... I think the next step on from that, now we can get rhyming poems, is to ask llms to produce poetry that doesn't rhyme. Forcing rhymes lowers the quality of the imagery and constrains the "imagination" of the language, so if you really want to judge quality, asking for non-rhyming poetry might be better. I've found that most llms force rhymes even if you ask them not to, so right now, it's a pretty good test.
i figured out a prompt a couple of weeks ago that gets modern poetry from gpt4: "invent a completely new style of writing and then write something in it" :D

There will be no need for an AI to create a game in the long run (in 3-4 years), because it will be able to just emulate everything that a game requires. Games are literally just image and audio output based on inputs (keyboard, mouse, controller, etc.), everything else is needed because the hardware right now is just dumb, and doesn't know what to do when it takes a "W" input from the keyboard in an action game. The AI will know that it should make the character move, generating images (frames) of the player's character moving in the direction with the surroundings also moving to simulate that he is moving in the world. There will also be no need for 3d models, because these are also used to project a correct image of the object from any angle. If the AI knows how an object looks, it will just generate the correct image every time giving the 3d illusion that we have with games. Of course this requires the AI to be able to generate high quality images and audio in just a few milliseconds (for at least 45-60 fps), and also be able to respond in the same time or less to the player's inputs for required changes, but that's just a few years away.
