I hope someday to make an electronic saxophone but in the form of a saxophone, I have an ewi and it would be nice if people did not look at it as a rare thing
Uh there’s many great things to be said about her playing and the instrument... I think it’s a great instrument for being able to practice anywhere ... I like that they use the same fingering as a sax... I like all the different sounds you can get that you can’t get on a sax... great tool for composition... and I’ve seen people using them on real tours like Roger Hodson’s horn player ... so it is a serious instrument... I’m thinking you could use a wireless setup on it as well... sounded good through her Cube 👍
I'll buy one after Christmas, but I agree with Eric, I'm not impressed with some of the sounds. I do like the fact that it has its own. I like to practice at night with headphones and it is a big deal setting up my Yamaha.
The guy plays nice sax, the sound is gotten from a Selmer or something, but I don't think it's that's advanced, or can anywhere near get the same sound quality of sampled instruments. It's pretty ok, but still has too many parts where it doesn't sound realistic. I am hoping the newer models are better sounding.
I think with the novelty of the instrument there isn't really a "master" yet to demo it properly. However, they do need to give whatever sax player they throw on it more time to practice XD
Yes he has, Roland really needs to work with him more. But I feel like the point of their videos have been centered around how easy it is for a sax player to just pick it up and play
maybe eventually they'll figure out the same way they advanced the guitar pickups. What will come out won't be like sax/clarinet etc but it will be cool as fk.
I see your spit still runs all over the place especially down the instrument body onto your hands. The response on the breath sensor needs some setting up too so the notes will trigger better. WX5 player here. Started with WX7 as soon as they were released.
What the hell is that drummer doing? His timing and feel was all over the place. Basically this was a very poor demo of what is probably a great product. I have seen others playing this AE-10 and it is much better. SACK THAT LOUSY DRUMMER !

Does the flute require a lot of pressure like the trumpet inorder to produce sound?
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have yous a branch here in Southern cross City Melbourne Australia.

sounds realistic! now you need a sympathetic look for this (midi) device!
That with Samplemodelling will sound much better.
I want one

I'm a little concerned about the videos and marketing Roland is doing for this. Honestly, it doesn't sound very good in the videos I've been seeing.

Beg to differ, but Alistair Parnell has made some awesome videos with it.

Nice instrument!
le batteur est super content !!!!
That fucking thing looks beyond absurd.

If they are all professional musicians, I'm coming to America, because as bad as I am, I can mqake a noise like that.
Obviously, you're not a golfer...
No man , he is grooving on a ‘more modern’ NeoJazz feel , 32nd displaced beats.Be here or be square bro’.
Why am I even interested in this.. It looks and sounds so foolish and horrible
sounds like.pure garbage
Please Americans...it is pronounced Sax-off-onist, NOT saxophoneist.
whut the actual fuck?
doesn't sound real. very limited in range and narrow expression.
lol see i know you didn't do research on "very limited in range".
